I just wanted to say that cat exclusive lied to me. I brought my cat in because he was sick. He was losing weight , didn't want to eat and I was going to have him put down. The Doctor told me that my cat had diabetes And stage to kidney failure. The veterinarian told me that his Insulin would be would be over a $100 a month. Unfortunately unfortunately i'm not able to pay a hundred dollars every month. I couldn't took my baby boy home. But they convinced me that I should surrender him.Which I did. I didIt for him. I had him for 15 and a 1/2 years. He was the reason why I got up every day when I found out that he was. Being fostered and that he was on oral. Medication. If they didn't lie to me and if they told me he would be an oral medication. My baby boy would be home and my depression wouldn't be taken overBecause he was the only reason I got out of bed.I'm not eating, or sleeping and now i hope to God that he puts me down soon. No i will not bodly harm myself, I'm not Suicidal But I hope every day not to wake up. Please if anybody could help me get my baby back. I appreciate it. I wanna back so bad. His real name is kumquit's quiet and they changed it to russell. Please, anybody out there. I need to get him back. Please help me.

Our family has been going to Cats Exclusive for nearly 15 years. The staff is kind and helpful. Their prices are very reasonable. The waiting room is extremely small but they do their best to move everyone along. I have absolutely no complaints. ❤️

The main Doctor, Dr. Zellmer, is a complete lunatic. He walked in the room with out introducing himself. He handled my cat roughly, disregarded all of the valid concerns we had about our cat's health. His service was abysmal. He also did not use gloves and shoved his hands into my cats mouth without washing them. When we tried to calmly voice our concerns about the fact that he refused to order any further testing he ripped his stethoscope off and began to verbally abuse my mother and I. My mother was a vet in her country for years and I am a health care professional so neither of us are incompetent when it comes to medical issues. Once the doctor began raising his voice at us and we began arguing back the tech in the room began to profusely apologizing to us, she seemingly had dealt with this behavior from him before. The self proclaimed "executive director" attempted to intervene by shoving her hand in my mothers face and telling her to shut up. After we tried to explain the situation and she continued to defend the doctor and eventually admitted that we wouldn't have to pay for the service. We left with a traumatized cat who was man handled by the vet and no diagnosis.Response: I am actually the daughter who wrote the review, and I was in no way mortified by my mothers actions. I don’t see how calling the employee a vet tech is so vastly different than calling someone a vet aid. Being hung up on that detail is strange given that I simply did not know what her title was. I’m also not sure how you would know whether I am taking my cats to another vet or not but that seems like a breach in client confidentiality that will need to be addressed. Since the entire event is on camera i’m sure you can see the doctor was the one who raised his voice in the first place and tore off his stethoscope. Maybe if you didn’t hire a doctor with aggressive tendencies this wouldn’t be an issue. Funny you refer to my pets as “poor babies” now, when they were victims to your rough and unprofessional doctor you did not seem to care. Also this was the 5th vet because we wanted some tests run and maybe some answers. I would tread very carefully referring to how my mother’s “country” a lot of your behavior and way you speak about my mother is considered racially and culturally insensitive if not discriminatory. Next time you want to make to publicly reply to a costumers complaint by bringing people’s “country” into it at least make sure it doesn’t sound like an 8 year old wrote it. Not sure I can expect anything else from an “executive director” with cat piss on her sweater and a nasty case of twitter fingers.

I’ve been going back to Cats Exclusive for about a year now. I went online to get the phone number for a friend, and saw a few of these reviews and just had to make one myself.I was a client of cats exclusive years ago, but after never and I mean absolutely never getting a call back, a doctor that would make you wait almost two hours to get you into the room, and just poor management, I had to switch vets. I heard that they had a new office manger and doctors, so I decided to give it another chance. Let me just say, it’s the best thing I could’ve done for me and my cats. The director Lyn is an absolute delight, she’s the reason I can provide treatment for my best friend despite my current circumstances. If you have been a client for awhile and haven’t seen the drastic changes to the office, then you don’t understand the amazing work they’re doing. I can ACTUALLY get through to someone the same day. The two Doctors they have are amazing and the techs/office staff are so sweet and they all genuinely care about the people and pets that come in. Thank you Cats Exclusive for all that you do I will continue to use you as my vet, and recommend you to all my fellow cat parents.

I had used this place for a few years for my cat’s care because they were more reasonably priced than other vets. I had taken my cat for a visit when he started throwing up his dry food and drooling occasionally. I took him in for an exam and was basically just told to stop feeding him dry food and the drooling was just him being content. I am not an expert in animal health so I took it as just that. This started about a year prior. Recently he started breathing as tho he were snoring and I called them to ask if I could bring him in because I didn’t like how he was breathing. After leaving a voicemail because they never answer their phone, I was rudely told that I would have to make an appointment. I wasn’t gonna sit and wait for an appointment. I called somewhere else and was told to bring him immediately. First thing the new vet place did was open his mouth and there was this great big tumor sitting on his hard palate. When they did a thorough exam, I was also told that his intestines felt inflamed. Lo and behold after doing a biopsy, confirmation was made that he had advanced lymphoma and not much could be done at that stage; they did offer chemo but was very honest in letting me know that it would not cure it but probably only give him a few more months. Needless to say I was completely devastated. He was formally diagnosed at the end of Nov 2023 and sadly passed on Dec 16, 2023. Now, I cannot help but think that maybe this is why he was throwing up and drooling. Of course I cannot say definitively that he had lymphoma at the time I took him to Cats Exclusive, but it may have been in the beginning stages where maybe something more could have been done. I felt like my concerns were brushed off and wished I had been more adamant. The only reason they even get two stars is because their vaccines and overall care is cheaper but you get what you pay for. Needless to say, I no longer use their services for my other kitty. Cheaper isn’t always better.
