Progressive has the worst customer service representatives. Worst with listening to get things fixed. Worst at getting a card to stay on file for automatic payments. Worst insurance company ever used. I’m changing my insurance. Would not recommend at all. It’s the worst insurance ever.

I was a progressive client for 3-4 years with no claims.
I had a new, but bad battery in my car, so I had to use roadside assistance twice in one month. During the second roadside assistance, I bought another new battery.
They canceled my policy for using road side assistance twice!
What a terrible company!

I had a claim with them it was the worst experience I've ever had. To representatives weren't trying to help us at all we had no rent a car for two weeks no way to get around the accident was totally the other person's fault and we were made to feel like it was ours an accident is a bad experience their job is to help to see how they can make that experience better not worse and they need to learn that

If you enjoy feeling POWERLESS and in the dark about when you'll get your car back, Progressive is for you! I'm in my first 6 months (prepaid) with Progressive and I haven't had an accident in 10 years and I typically stay with my insurance company for that long. I got t-boned, the other driver assumed fault and it's been like pulling teeth to get Progressive to do anything. My car has been at the Infiniti dealer for 10 days and no one has stopped by or even called to schedule a visit to assess it. All the people saying Progressive is a scam are 100% correct. Their phone systems are cyclical and always point me to the same person in charge of my claim. I can't get ahold of her manager or the claim adjusters manager, they are either dead numbers or never pick up or call back. And if I call the 800 number they just transfer you back to the local agents, even if you ask not to. Save yourself the aggravation, don't buy Progressive. I'll be cancelling my policy after six months.

I'm not happy. I was in a car accident and not at fault. Eddie the adjuster from Progressive took 10 days to respond to a supplement from auto body shop. Took 8 days to respond to another one. They had my car for more than 2 months and held me responsible for about $1000 even though I was not at fault and they said they were going to take care if it and were responsible to bring my car back to pre-accident condition.They did not want to pay for all the work the auto body shop completed and failed to make me whole and held me not only financially responsible but left me without a car to go to work and unable to pay the ransom they're holding my car hostage for.
