How come when I call them to possibly take in a stray kitten I found and can’t keep I have to argue with the phone person that tarpon springs is in pinellas, I’m trying to save this cats life and they can’t distinguish what county? Lol

They just sent off 100 animals to be unalived in Houston..One of the worst states known for animal cruelty. JUST LOOK AT CLEVELAND TEXAS..Farewell sweet Florida dogs..They should be ashamed of themselves

Unfortunately I am surrendering my cat because I'm unable to take care of his due to my disability. Roo is such a sweetheart, loving, playful kitty and loves to eat. I'm dropping Roo off September 7 th in the morning and I feel really bad that I have to do this. The person who answered the phone was so nice, warm, kind hearted and very lovely. If you are looking for a perfect cat Roo is Amazing! If someone could possibly scoop him up that would be great! He's an orange cat. I will know more when I get there on Saturday 9/7/2024, but everything is going to go smoothly. Like I said the lady who I spoke to was so kind and understanding. I finally found a place for my cat. If anyone could possibly help out Roo ASAP please adopt him, you definitely are going to be getting a gentle, loving cat who loves attention and food. I am so happy that I found the SPCA to help me out, other places were definitely wrong for Roo. Thank you so much ! Have a fantastic day !?

I love what they do for the animals and our pets. I would appreciate it if the staff had some autism and sensory needs training from CARD or similar program. It would be great if everyone could feel welcome to visit the shelter.

This SPCA location is the best animal shelter I have ever been to. The animals are so well cared for regardless of their species. I have a soft spot for small animals and their pocket pet rescue is so appreciated. Rodents, rabbits, birds, and reptiles all need care too! Thank you for providing them with this.

Gave us a sick kitten, and the wrong one we picked out. Bc they were having a problem with the chip. So we decided we wanted to bring the kitten back,bc that wasn’t fair to us. And we had decided we wanted to get a dog for our dog we currently have to play with. And they refuse to let us adopt a dog. This is crazy, this is exactly why, this shelter is over flooded with animals.
