“Great used bookstore. Have been going to it for many years. Very friendly and ready-to-help staff. They’ve always kept their prices pretty low, while other stores have upped their’s in recent years.
Always a good selection. Have found some rare gems there. Have probably bought 400 books from them. Highly recommend.”

“This is a very nice little thrift store. Everything is neat and clean, and the staff is very friendly. I found some of their items to be a little more than what I was willing to spend, but having said that I DID manage to find a dress at a fantastic price. Everything is discounted on Wednesdays. This is actually two stores with a little cafe separating them. We went to both. We got the dress at one of the shops and some things to decorate the house with at the one that had the furniture. The furniture shop did not have a counter and we saw nobody to give our money to until my husband thought to look out the back door. I think the gal that worked there was outside helping someone else load up. This is a shop that we will be visiting again.”
“This was an amazing store with genuinely unique items. I was very surprised by how big the store was too. The owner (assuming) was incredibly kind and quick to help, all without being an overbearing sales person. The prices are more than reasonable too for how vintage and one of a kind they are. I will be back for sure!”

“We have seen this place for many years. It wasn’t until recently that we decided to give it a try. My husband and I found this gem of a store and love coming in to see what they have new. The owner is friendly and always make you feel welcome. Now this store is on our list of places to go to buy items at a cheaper price. You won’t be disappointed.”
“I would rate this closer to a 3.5 out of 4…it kind of smelled strange in there which makes me want to leave immediately. With that being said, there are lots and lots of wedding dresses if you are looking for a deal! There was a decent selection of lululemon. Not many great options for designer bags. Overall fair prices and options for men!”

“Most affordable thrift store I have been to in a good while. Only downside was they didn’t have rugs which I came here for specifically, but I was able to find T-shirts for the Rays and Bucs- so it was still a win. Keeping 5 stars because the rest outweighed that- great prices, only 2-3 dollars for a T-shirt and barely any wait at checkout.”

“Found a real cashmere scarf for $5. Pretty good find. Clothing was a little sparse the day I went and there seemed to be more for the 40+ crowd which is pretty typical for this area. Definitely worth stopping in because you never know what you might find. Staff was very kind and helpful. Will come by again in a few weeks!”

“Well organized & clean, found a potential item that had just been put out but not yet priced and the manager gave me a price on the spot that was really good. Minimal parking, park as soon as you get in the driveway. The exit is bumpy and through the back dirt road, don't drive your sports car.”
“I'm not going to give them less than 5 stars but I do have a complaint. I didn't shop there but I went to drop off and after driving 11 miles the sign on their door says we are not taking donations at this time. Just wish the info was available to me before driving there. Lesson learned. I just moved here and tried to find a worthy thrift store to donate to instead of Goodwill or Salvation Army but alas I had to come all the way home and look up the address for another thrift store to donate to. Pretty frustrating.”
“There's a lot to see but they've maximized the space well. If you're in the area it's worth giving it a chance. The employees were very nice and even tried moving around some of what they were organizing to give us more space to look. They also offered suggestions of what sections to check out based on what they saw we liked, which is always appreciated when it's your first time at a store. Great experience overall.”
“There are two locations: 1221 North Orange Avenue - Corner of 12th Street & North Orange Avenue 1038 North Orange Avenue We went to both, and the main one is larger and had better selection especially for furniture & housewares. They seem to have several sales going on at various times, so ask if not sure on final price. Lots of furniture items that are in great shape for a reasonable price. The staff at the larger store was nice, but there seemed to be at least 3 people working, but maybe only 1 register, so I waited while the other two stood around/did other things. The staff at the smaller place across the street was super nice, more people working in the back than out front, but still helpful, more clothes than furniture there but still good prices on everything and sales posted in various places.”

Location is nice and roomy, which means you don’t feel like you’re on top of other shoppers like the North Port bargain barn. “This Goodwill is one of my favorites. It is clean and they have very nice donations. Definitely a higher end location. The only downfall is that they are sometimes understaffed and the prices are exceptionally high compared to other locations. I have included some videos as an example.
There are still some great deals to be found and I still support this store. It is worth a visit!”

“With prices much better than any corporate resale store this is one of my favorite places to shop! They have quality items at great prices. I'm an enthusiastic shopper yet fussy about what I actually buy but here's always something really interesting and irresistible to "spark joy" at Segunda Vida. Another big plus is that it is one of several vintage shops on that block so if you're interested in household items or clothing or jewelry or furniture it's all right there.”
