We lost our big sister. My brother and I just absolutely devastated. we went to Marion's Funeral Home. The staff knew what to do, and fly her home to IN to be buried. So much paperwork and details Joy said come back, and it was magic.They were doing all that and God bless them for being there.

My husband died the day before Good Friday. Danny and Brenda gave up their holiday weekend to meet us and she went over and above to locate what we asked for to make the service more special. Since my husband had been active duty Air Force for 35 years. She made sure he had an active duty Honor Guard. Danny had ALL the papers we needed for the military service at Bushnell and was familiar with what I would need afterwards. He even told me what to ask for that generally would be a reimbursement for a military widow. They were gentle and kind, not pushing anything. We spent hours making sure everything was done and ready. The funeral was only 8 days after the death so that out of state family could attend during their spring break. We were treated with such great respect. I have told everyone I know that this is the best place to go. I highly recommend them!

Unfortunately we all have to deal with the loss of a loved one so close we have used Marion' Nelson a few times and Joy and the staff are wonderful with after grief help as well thankyou for your kindness and reaching out to us after all we been through they go out of there way to make you feel content ?

Marion Nelson Funeral Home has been there for my loved ones. They have made the transition so easy and gracious. They have been there for me through my mother's buriel and now my dad's. They have been like a family through the whole thing. I not only recommend them I wouldn't use anyone else for my last good-bye to the ones I love. Thank you for all you have done and you still do.

I just want to share our fam experience with Marion Nelson Funeral home, special thanks to Caitlin, the directors was a wonderful team, they take care of everything and during difficult time they always asked me “how do you feel, how is doing your fam ? It was an excellent service I definitely ? Recommend was a mix of humanity and excellent service. We are a family from Puerto Rico and Honduras and we are grateful for the signs and solidarity you showed us and for having that human touch in the face of the loss of my dear Brother José Armando López Valentín ✝️

Marion Nelson was the funeral home we used for both my father and mother, who passed away 4 years apart. During both of those services and burials, my family and I could not have been more pleased and grateful to the folks there. They did everything in their power to make certain we had all we needed. They used their expertise and experience to our benefit. Both times. They treated us with such respect it reminded me how folks used to treat each other. Every phone call was answered or returned. Every concern taken seriously. Really, I can not think of one thing I was dissatisfied about. And they made many suggestions that I would not have thought about. Last, they were honest and transparent about their costs - there were NO added costs. Everything was quoted out front and that is exactly what we ended up paying. This is a well run, honest and decent company.
