“I had a coolant leak which can be minor or total the car serious. When I called the dealership where I bought the car, their service department couldn’t get me in for over a week. I explained it was a coolant leak, could they at least look at it. They’d “call me”. So I called Richard’s. When he heard coolant leak, he said bring it in. Early in the afternoon I got a call from Jay, who had found the leak, but no one in town had the part. He asked if I wanted to pick up the car and bring it in the next day or leave it. I left it and by 9:30 the next morning, I got the call that it was ready. He’d saved the old reservoir and showed me exactly where the leak had been. The cost was under $190.00! “Mobile marine came out at short notice to deal with a power failure on my boat. They diagnosed the problem to one of two shore power converters, they rigged up one to carry a partial load while they researched and found a refurbished unit to replace the faulty one. They swapped out the new power module efficiently and checked everything was in order….which it was. They do good work.”

“Before we decided to move to Key West we thought it would be fun to buy an older convertible, and we purchased a Bentley Azure from a mechanic in Boca Raton. We lived in West Palm Beach and had the car stored at the former Palm Beach Garage, which kept the car in a climate controlled facility and also provided service and repairs. We loved to Key West in June and weren't sure what to do with the car so we left it in West Palm. One of our favorite bartenders, Alex at the Orchid Bar, told us about Lonnie and we were stunned to find someone on Stock Island with his own classic Rolls Royce and the knowledge and skill to service and repair our Bentley. We brought the car down a few weeks ago and brought it to Lonnie. He knows all of the quirks of the car and has taught us some tricks as well as provided some basic maintenance and repairs. We are so very happy with the results and relieved that we can continue to own and enjoy our convertible. We are confident that Lonnie can keep the car in top shape and we plan on doing some light restoration to the interior in the future. If you have a classic car that needs service in the Lower Keys do not hesitate to bring it to Lonnie; you will not be disappointed.”
