As a loyal J.Jill shopper and credit card holder for years, I have to say I had an awful and upsetting experience with a recent return. In late August I purchased a number of items for an upcoming trip and after returning had several items I did not want to keep. First of all I was with the 90 days, clothes had tags and were unworn. Upon walking into the store 1) I was not greeted as normal, I’m sure because I had a “return” 2) Upon approaching the counter I was abruptly told, after no greeting, I’m working on a “customer order” and will be with you in a minute. While another sales person was available, patiently waited for my return to be processed. 3) When to counter sales lady had finished her folding of clothes, and decided she was ready to process the return, once again there was no greeting. Maybe, a comment like “thank you for your patience, how can I help you?” would have been nice. I told her I needed to return two items. I gave her my receipt and after a quick glance she said “this one is not on the receipt!”.My response was they were purchased on the same day and with the same transaction. Upon a little further studying of the receipt she determine I had been double charged for one top. Long story short is weeks before as a “purchasing customer” I was greeted nicely, helped and assisted promptly, but as a “return of purchase” customer I was vilified and made to feel bad for my return and the process was ugly and rude. After this horrible experience with one mean,rude, smug lady I will no longer be a loyal J.Jill customer at The Town Center. If they cannot accept a return that meets their standards from someone then maybe I don’t need to buy their clothing. I shop all over the country, and have never experienced such rudeness. This lady has forgotten who pays her salary and it’s loyal customers like me. It’s very hard to earn customer loyalty and return customers, and very easy to loose it because of unchecked and rudeness from company employees. This is not the first time over the years I have experienced this with J.Jill and other fiends have said the same “smugness” was felt when making a return. My warning to consumers is, enjoy your shopping experience, but beware the treatment you will receive if you choose to return any purchases. My clothes shopping will be made in the future at retailers who kindly, nicely and politely accept my return and value my business.

Very happy with this store. I cannot stand the locked dressing rooms and security eye balling you at other stores. This was good.

Brought in a pair of pants I ordered online that didn't fit, lady in the store gave me the wrong style of pants.

Very plentiful sales racks...seems like I can always find more and better choices at J.Jill than I can at Chicos.

Visited the Jacksonville location. Extremely helpful sales associate who really knew her stuff. She made a point to order (free shipping) an item that was not stocked in store. Efficient, helpful, & pleasant - doesn't get any better.

This is for the online website. They offer next day shipping for additional cost and item is targeted to be delivered 4 days later. Customer Service was not accommodating in refunding the shipping cost, since the item will arrive the same day as free shipping. I am very disappointed with this retailer and will not be purchasing from the again.

Extremely rude staff. They not only made us wait endlessly at the counter while they were scanning items for their inventory but also served another costumer who had just entered the store. They will not see us again.
