The worker (shanique) was behind the counter at 7:00pm Tuesday evening killing it. She was running 2 registers at the same time, like there was 2 workers there. She was amazing at her job, so polite, kind and helpful. Thank you Shanique for being a amazing person.

Good place to get gas or coffee in the mornings. Busy place employees are friendly and has quick food for fast pick up.

Easy access to automobile fuel between a Pawn Shop and a Krystal restaurant. Competitive pricing, and older buildout, in a decent neighborhood. Can't get enough of those little sliders and the Spicy Hot Wings. Super spicy without the sauce! You could literally walk there and back to your vehicle, but don't do that because the gas pumps are always busy. ☺️

The morning crew needs some SERIOUS management. Most of the ladies are kind even if imperfect, as are we all. The elderly white lady is an absolute nightmare of a human being however. No customer service, condescending, passive aggressive and plain ugly spirited. Gate is my preferred station no matter where I am, but this is one location where I’ll have to reconsider. Not sure if she’s management herself, but either she acts like it and needs to be corrected, or is and needs further training. Shame.

My sister and I work at an adult toy store across the street. She was purchasing a drink before shift and the older white male behind the counter asks where she works, when she tells him his response was, “yea you look like it”. Not sure when and where harassment like that is okay but when she brought it up to a female employee, she dismissed it and said she’s never received a complaint about him before and that she “knows all the girls that work there”. Clearly not because you don’t know us. And how is it okay to shame or put down a woman based on how you think she is dressed or where she works?! I’ll be calling corporate and hope to speak the store manager when I call tomorrow. Disgusting is what that was.

I’d leave zero stars if possible. Went in to buy water and my spouse went in to buy something as well. Cashier greeted all the white people, but ignored my African American spouse. Get to the counter she checks out the white man but refuses to check out or even acknowledge my spouse. This is the second time this has happened with this lady. The first time we thought she was just having a bad day. Two times though isn’t a coincidence it’s a show of character. This is really pathetic on gates part because the manager just say there and watched the situation unfold and made excuses. Won’t be using this location anymore until somebody reaches out and apologizes to my spouse for their employees racist behaviors.

The bathrooms at this location are always clean and properly stocked. It does get very busy quite often here, making the traffic light/ neighboring intersection and its traffic extremely overcrowded, hectic, stressful. Id be lying if I said it wasn't a dangerous intersection during peak hours, as far as traffic goes. About half the employees are rude, the other half sweet as pie. Its a roll of dice honestly.
