Scam artists. Lock you into a 3 year contract and if you miss a payment you have to sign a new 3 year contract to reinstate services or pay the ENTIRE amount at once, not a fee. BEWARE.

Worst company ever I would never ever will have this company says services. I’ve been with ADT for six years and now that I’m calling to cancel, they still require 30 days notice I wish I can put zero not even one star. not to mention, they leave you on the phone for like an hour and you have to go through six people in order for you to get to the ride department. It seems like they don’t have employees in the US it might be outside the country.

Bailee Lynn is firing people and not helping people and lying to people she lied I was getting ust to new position I didn't even know id have to go to relo I was told I can stay in call coordinator I never had trouble with any manager Justin was kind but bailee said I can go back to call coordinator because of my disability but then just blocked me and fired me that's crazy didn't even tell me what did I do to deserve that I have a disability I'm telling my attorney the relocation qualifier manager she just didn't like me because I had anxiety attack at work and was rude in her feelings daily fellow colleagues saying the same her pregnancy giving her bad mood swings that's not right to handle it like that and lie on me

ADT is absolutely the worst, and I am sorry that I signed up for their services! The product is trash, batteries only last for about a month, and you wait forever to speak with a customer service agent that won't know how to fix the problem. Have a tech come out for $$$$, and treat you as if you are incompetent.I sent a letter to the CEO and the Chief Customer Service Officer in November 2022 and have never received a response.

ADT is the worst, The guy tricked us into buying it by saying that it "came with" the house we had just bought, which I see now is clearly untrue. So uncomfortable and predatory.

Worst Contract and Customer Service I have ever heard ofOur small business had ADT set up summer 2022. From the beginning of the contract, we had massive issues with the equipment/technicians/and customer service.I want to explain all of these in detail so people reading this can avoid the same mistake that we made by using this company.During our initial install, before even arriving on the premise the technician asked for directions were rude and yelled at our employee. When they finally found the location (we are around 1 mile away from ADTs local office) they once again yelled at the same employee. They also quickly requested to speak with the owner and were dismissive towards the women working in the office... After speaking with the owner, the install was still done incorrectly.After waiting a month for ADT to correct this, they sent their 'pro' technician from another state to assist. He drove hours from another state and the light drizzle of rain prevented him from taking the single necessary step on a ladder that was required to move a camera.After waiting another month for the next technician. They arrived and refused to make any changes to the equipment without approval from the owner. They did not accept the direction from the women working in the office and once again were rude and dismissive. This technician also refused to wait 5-10 minutes for the owner to arrive and promptly left.If you have read this far and think that this must be grounds for terminating the contract you would be wrong. They categorized all of our visits as part of the initial install and not service visits. If you have problems during multiple service visits they will cancel your contract. They can do this to keep you in the contract for longer, I really do not understand how this is not more recognized as a scam. You have no control over what type of service visit it is.I had 6-8 phone calls with ADT in a single day (the phone calls kept dropping due to problems at their call center) with the long holds it lasted from 9am-6pm and then a couple more into the next day just to end the contract. On the phone I clearly explained all of the issues we had. They had no time for it and did not care. They tried to offer 'deals' they tried to offer free months (which we never got) and they even tried to send back the 'pro' guy again to fix the issues. Of all the people I talked to a single person agreed that this was unacceptable behavior and told me to call them back specifically and they would end the contract for us. After I spent time detailing all of the issues and called back asking to speak with the same person, I was told that 'I was not able to speak with them', and that cancelling the contract was not included in her notes on the ticket. I was also told that technician's behavior, pretty much whatever it is, is not grounds for terminating the contract.I tried to get ahold of someone locally to avoid being on hold for so long with customer service. Most people had quit at their local office including the manager for small business accounts, they told me they haven't been able to find a replacement. They gave me the number for two regional managers who have never answered their phones after repeated attempts.In the end they charged $1600 to a small business for equipment that never worked, they lied, we had a break in attempt during this time period and lost a bunch of time just trying to get them to stop billing us. Easily the worst experience I have ever had dealing with any business.

Please don't enter into this jail they force to stay with them under a 3 years contract that renews automatically no matter if the service they 'provide" does not work my cameras has not worked for 3 months they do not care and they told me if you want to exit adt you have to pay us 300 penalty fee the first service that charges you for canceling horrible service O starts horrible customer service waiting for 2 hours in a call nobody answers.

If you are trying to protect yourself in a domestic violence situation DO NOT get ADT. They misrepresent how the system will protect and fraudulently get you into a 6 year contract. All a determined individual has to do is disable the wifi and the system is useless, but they won’t tell you this until after you buy. Then they won’t do anything to help you and you’re locked into a 72 month (7200$!!!) contract. They take advantage of people at their most vulnerable.

very poor customer service.. been waiting for a refund for a month now....the first time they said it would be 3 business days...2nd time 5 business days.....now they saying 30 business days....and i have yep got my $1500 refund to me...

Horrible company. Have had service for 9 years and I'm suddenly getting false alarms and repeated phone calls after they said they upgraded my system. They call with an alarm notification, send me to customer service, leave me on hold for 15 minutes and then hang up on me. I will be taking mybusiness and monthly payment elsewhere.
