BE CAREFUL AND SAVED ALL PAPERWOR. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR PAPERWORK BEFIRE YOU KEAVE THE GYM. Damn scammers. I closed my account in October in person at the Beach Blvd gym and they still billing me. called corporate and they told me that I needed to put the cancellation request which i did back in October. so I guess the guy who closed my account decided to close my wife's and left mine opened. i told them to look at my profile to verify that i havent been using the gym but they don't care, the worst part is that corporate won't investigate anything, they just told me I won't get reimburse.

I have been a member for a few years, with a break over Covid, and returned.I announced an upcoming move to the FL west coast and paid a cancellation fee upfront. I do not have an official document with a new address, as I am staying with a friend, while still searching.At the next monthly billing date yesterday, I got a threatening email, in a awful tone, that my account was going to collections - why did you not apply my late fee towards the payment?I called to settle this, on my moving day today (additional stress not needed), and this is apparently standard procedure. There is not a real person to send an email to or a physical address to address a letter.People, you are a JAX business and should have a little compassion about your locals, as we have many other choices!

There currelty is one toilet for every male gym goer here and it's never clean. It has been this way for months. I like most of the staff but the gym environment is off. The Gym Jax is a much better option that is nearby. The Baileys on Atlantic and San P. is a better location as well. If they would just clean the gym, have better music and fix the locker room issues it wouldn't be so bad.

Got in a motorcycle accident couldn’t use the gym, and had a billing issue they didn’t help me with, now making me pay late fees on all the months I missed. due to the motorcycle accident I didn’t use the gym so there was no way to find out there was a billing issue

stay away from these bastards who sell supplements with sucralose now found to cause dna damage and that is on top of other proven problems and their immature assinine staff refusing to provide for an exchange under a pathetic excuse .they are scum,and i was an origional member.they could care less if their products harm you.

Staff sucks I don't recommend this location. I'd choose a better more suitable location that has more to offer and a more appropriate staff. I'd rather choose a crowded planet fitness than this specific gym location. Other than that the equipment isn't bad hardly anyone there.

I love this gym. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. It's very clean and all equipment is well maintained. They have a great assortment of classes with convenient times for everyone. They have a great shop with workout accessories, healthy snacks, and smoothies.

Been trying to cancel membership here for months and they try to make it a run around as much as they can. Corporate office doesn't even pick up the phone half the time. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Went by Gym to get info. And membership and they would not let me use use the bathroom first so I could talk and get a membership, after driving there to get one, stating only member's can use the bathrooms. Av business no need to be treated like that or go in a business with that negative go to good gym not a controlled freak one with no hospitality, that your money somewhere else. Randy

NICK the "Manager" just gave me the worst possible customer service I've ever experienced. As someone who works in customer service industry, I was completely surprised by his comments. I called baileys and NICK answered the phone. I was asking if, in his own time, someone could grab my hoodie I left. He responded with " I'm not going to go on a duck hunt and look for everyone's f****** personal belongings." All I asked was in their own time if they could look for it. I proceeded to ask if I can leave information regarding the description of the hoodie, and my contact information. Then he said " No, I'm not going to give you a call back." I've been going to this gym for 2 years AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK BECAUSE OF NICK !!!!! Very upset with how he handled such a simple situation.

Definitely don’t come here if you’re from out of town. This place doesn’t have week passes so if you’re visiting family they’ll hose you. Bring a bunch of water because the water fountains look like they are from the 90s and dispense water that will ruin your tastebuds for the day. Also, they’ll get on you and scold you if you’re deadlifting barefoot, which shows the lack of common sense in their safety policies. Definitely go the The Gym down the road. This is from a former local. Trust me.

I would rate this gym very highly in terms of the equipment (varied and plentiful), staff (pleasant, friendly and helpful with local advice - shout out to Derek and Brad), the other gym users were lovely and they had flexible day and month rates. My only criticism would be there wasn’t an option to have a weekly rate. It’s pretty minor point but put us off a bit. However we were won over by many advantages the gym offered.

Unfortunately after being a member here for almost 10 years and referring many people to their gyms, I am leaving Bailey’s on such a negative note. After reading through all of the other negative reviews, it appears that the biggest issue this company has is greed.I would not recommend joining this gym, they are a greedy business and do not care about their customers. They pride themselves in being a local gym, however they do not operate like such. I had to cancel my membership due to moving out of town. I am no longer in a contract and have been paying monthly. I gave notice to cancel but was informed that it needed to be a 30 day notice prior to the next billing cycle. Unfortunately, I was a few days off from that, so I asked that they would prorate it for December. They refused and said I would be charged the entire month as it was “policy”. As a local business, I know that they have the ability to make exceptions to the rule but clearly they are a greedy business and want the extra money. The front desk at this location was extremely rude and unprofessional when I asked them to please work with me, and to no surprise so was the corporate office. They do not care about their loyal clientele and have made it very evident here. I took matters to the BBB because truly this is just bad business, however they couldn’t even be bothered to respond to my complaint there. I accepted the fact that I would unfortunately have to pay for another month even though I gave ample notice and won’t physically be there, so I asked if they would at least let me lower my package from platinum to a basic package. The front desk told me I would need to call corporate to make that request since I already moved and cannot come in person to do it. The corporate office would not lower my membership package and instead told me I was trying to “beat the system” when I made this request. This comment was extremely inappropriate and uncalled for. It’s honestly a shame, up until this I had nothing but great things to say about this company. Now I’m leaving with the most bitter taste in my mouth and it is truly upsetting. As a local business, do better.
