I've ordered from many Auction houses, but I feel like the Lion & Unicorn is the best! From the items they curate to the SHIPPING! Every delicate piece showed up intack, ontime and with such good care. They are hands down the best compared to others. Oh, did I mention the hand written thank you note I received with my order? Yes! Thank you Lion & Unicorn for making this process seemless!

I cannot say enough great things about Lion & Unicorn. The services that they offer helped me through a very rough time in my life. The passing of both parents coincided with a necessary downsizing as I had to move suddenly. From the moment I placed the call to Lion & Unicorn, I was handled with care, compassion, understanding, and immediately felt secure knowing that all necessary steps would be taken to have my cherished belongings handled with care and sold for top dollar. I have since taken a great interest in the company and continue to learn daily, the inner workings of all steps taken to care for everything that comes in and goes out the doors. I can tell you first hand that the care that was given to me during my first phone call, is shared by every person that works there. The process is quite amazing and the entire staff handles every situation (and every item) with amazing care. I can't wait to use Lion & Unicorn again.

If you like an auction house that shills, look no further. Now if you're able to outbid the auction house and they don't add a fake reserve at the last minute, off to the shipping department where they bill at a rate of a lawyer.

Absolutely impressed with all aspects of this auctions house. My goods came wrapped so well. Each piece was wrapped with white wrapping tissue followed by the remainder of wrapping material to keep them safe. I received a card which I never have from an auction house. This by far is the best auction house I have worked with from beginning to end.

I've had the good fortune of dealing with various people within Lion & Unicorn, (Heather specifically), over the past year, and with Auctioneer, Sales, Shipping, Accounts, no matter whom, and these people have ALL been amazing, professional, friendly - a wonderful experience every time without exception!
L & U team go over and beyond to assist, help, are thorough, knowledgeable and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This is the best auction house I have ever done business with. That includes Sotheby's, Christie's and Doyle. I have both bought and sold with them. They excelled on both sides. If you sell, they send you description/estimates promptly and mail a check promptly. If you buy, they answer questions promptly and are very honest. Staff is extremely friendly, from top to bottom. It is actually a pleasure to do business with them.

The owner is very pleasant. He wasn't able to help me but recommended someone that was. If you can wait and use them for consignment I recommend them
