Look like nice inventory but they ask for 50 percent down like 10.000 who has 5000 for a down payment for me does not make sense.

Scott and Brian aren't salesmen. They're two friends who help people find their next vehicle. I have been emailing (bugging) Scott for 6 weeks regarding a truck he had for sale. I live in Dallas, Texas and did not have a chance to view the vehicle. Through a serious of Q&A (bugging Scott) I eventually jumped on a plane and pick up the vehicle. Most salesmen would have ignored most of my requests and questions, but Scott and Brian kept responding and sending photos as I requested them. Fair, honest, friendly, and to ice the cake- great prices!

This review is not meant to be negative in any way. However, my experience was not a good one. My husband and I drove to Sunset Auto to inquire about a used navigator suv they had on the lot. My husband and I have an older one not in the best condition. We wanted to trade ours once we looked and test drove there’s. We decided to get the truck and told Brian we would be back w/our truck the next day. My husband and I started to drive our truck and noticed the brakes wasn’t working properly. He called Brian and told him. He said to have it towed that he would work something out. So we get there and he told us he tried to call us to let us know that he sold the navigator the night before. I said that’s not good business.So to shorten this up, I thought and told my husband this is a case of BAIT & SWITCH. However, he did offer us another vehicle we REFUSED. Our truck is still at his lot.
Long story short, we ended up with a much better truck at another dealership.
Yes we paid more but in the end we got a better vehicle not with high miles. I’ve noticed that most of there vehicles have high mileage. Brian is a good honest person. I’m not saying anything bad just my personal experience with him. The owner I just didn’t get a good vibe from him, that’s probably why he got Brian there because he doesn’t come off as good as Brain does.I would recommend them if you don’t want to spend a lot and don’t care about high mileage. The navigator we wanted is still for sale on there website. LOL???????♠️

I bought a 2000 Dodge Ram Van from them. Beautiful shape, although there was a problem found after purchase and they took excellent care of us and the repair. I would recommend them highly.

If I was able to give more than 5 stars, I would! Scott and Rob were a huge help when I was buying my truck! Even with it being my first time to a dealership they were both extremely patient with answering my questions and walking me through the steps!! Made my “first dealership experience” a wonderful one!

If you are looking for a car dealership unlike any else you can find or have visited, look no further! This place was a godsend, my husband and I are subprime car buyers which creates a situation in which all dealerships only want to sell you a new car of their make which equals years of being in debt with a car you didn't even want. We had a specific car that isn't manufactured anymore in mind and Sunset Auto & Truck happened to have the exact Solara SLE we wanted, a perfect pre-owned beauty. We needed it right away which Rob was happy to accommodate, he is the incredibly helpful and hilarious vehicle concierge-any car related questions or requests are capably handled by Rob. He waited until after closing for us to drive to the dealership and worked with us based on what we had not rather than what they wanted. Scott is the manager and should be proud of such a fantastic establishment, the inventory is a wide variety of makes all serviced/ inspected and listed exactly as they are. The car is a delight, we've gotten many compliments and couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Sunset Auto & Truck took a stressful obligation to purchase an expensive and important object and managed to make it enjoyable, thank you Rob and Scott.

Sunset auto is the one used car dealer I trust. My last used truck I bought there, I have put over 50,000 miles on it with no mechincal problems, just tires and a oil changes. Great place to buy from.
