This is the second time in less than 6 months that I've had to take my old boy Brady here. Dr Kiser remembered Brady from his last visit. Dr kiser and the young lady who checked us in were lovely, kind , and caring. Any emergency vet is going to cost extra $, so I expected that. And after all was said snd done, the bill was less than I thought it would be. Dr Kiser is very kind and knowledgeable. Exactly what my boy and I needed. Thank you Doctor K!

I will never come to this place. Went because my cat was sick and the nurse was rude, told me I have to come back in an hour or so because there were other people before me. Never called me back.

Thank you sweet baby Jesus for this place! After a terrible experience at another emergency vet (see previous review) this place saved the day! I arrived and was placed in a room immediately. I was provided paperwork to fill out and while I had to wait, I was checked on and thanked for my patience. Ms. Moccia came in and gathered all the necessary info and took Roscoe back for his vitals. Dr. Thomas was great too! Both of them explained everything along the way and made me feel extremely comfortable. Thankfully Roscoe's diagnosis is nothing too serious and he'll be back to normal in no time! I'm so happy I ended up here and will be sure to recommend but hopefully not need again!

My dog spent the weekend here after suffering a life threatening heat stroke. The dog was transferred here for emergency care after being stabilized at another facility. The staff is very very competent and compassionate. They kept me updated as to my dog’s condition regularly, and answered all my questions whenever I called to inquire about him. I would highly recommend this place.

The staff are very compassionate and professional. I am grateful I was able to seek care for my pet fancy rat on a holiday weekend when I couldn't find any other veterinarians open today 1/17/2021 that would treat a fancy rat which is typically considered an "exotic animal."Scheduling the appointment was easy, and when we arrived they brought us in right on time.I had the best possible experience you can have when you're worried and stressed about your furbaby.

My dog accidentally received an additional trifexis and I was FREAKING out. I read conflicting info online and couldn’t stop myself from watching my dogs every move. I called the line and the woman who answered was so calming, knowledgeable and reassuring. I didn’t have to bring my girl in but if their service is anything like she was with me on the phone I highly recommend!

This past weekend I had an emergency with my little yorkie and I have to say that I am very happy to have found this center. They got us in quickly and started taking care of her immediately. I really felt that we were in good hands. This place is clean, and the people that work there are caring and professional. I want to thank Dr Kiser and Lindsay for helping us get her back to health.

On Saturday night, January 2, 2021, I discovered that one of my colony cats had some kind of injury(ies) to his paw(s) as he didn't want to, or couldn't, get up and walk. I called Pet Emergency Center on Cypress Creek Road in Ft. Lauderdale and brought him right in. It seems Smokey must have stepped on something hot as the pads of his paws were burned. I suspect he stepped on still hot fireworks residue. The veterinarian and staff had no hesitation treating a colony kitty, and they were wonderful with him. If Smokey was upset about anything, it was only the Elizabethan collar he had to wear to keep him from licking his paws. He was already wanting to stand in his kennel the next morning. We followed the veterinarians instructions and kept Smokey confined to a kennel for 2 full days.As a colony caregiver and rescuer I know that most emergencies happen at night, so I am grateful that Pet Emergency Center is there, and able to provide exceptional medical care.

Thanksgiving Day I was in a panic because I was babysitting my daughter's baby pacman frog while she was out of town. I brought him in and Dr. Schneider was able to perform a very delicate procedure on the little guy and I was so relieved- I mean they little guy is about the size of a quarter! She was so nice and the rest of the staff was wonderful as well. I had to wait awhile but I was fine with it because I needed them. While, yes, the person answering the phone and at the front desk is direct and to the point, she is not rude. She has to run an efficient office so that they can take care of as many creatures as possible that are brought in. They don't have time for chitchat and some get offended by this. I am so glad to know they are there, especially since they see exotics. I think they are terrific!

This is our second visit with the Pet Emergency Care on Cypress Creek Road over the last few years. The staff went above and beyond and was compassionate and competent. Our dog was treated in a timely fashion and received top notch care. We were very satisfied with the service of Dr. Renata Schneider and the cost incurred was very reasonable.

This place was beyond awful. Really slow service, the lady answering the phone( I think her name was "Carry" ) was so rude to me. When I got there they let me in and made me pick her up and put her on the scale (This seems like something they would generally do, maybe it's COVID protocol I don't know). They took a very long time to get to me even though they were only letting two people in at a time. My sweet baby was throwing up all day and so I took her in and the emergency exam was $85. They took her back to examine her and once again took forever. They came back with a $400 estimate. I asked what was absolutely necessary and she brought back an estimate that was $200. It was full of medications and things and I asked about a follow up appointment and she said the follow up would be with my vet. I said since we were going to the vet that we could get the medicine from them since I trusted my vet more. She literally asked me "then why did you come here?" In such a condescending way. She then brought me a receipt for $120 and told me "good luck". When I left she said nothing else to me.

In a time of need this Pet Emergency Center was there for me and my family. After making an emergency phone call to my veterinarian regarding my 12 year old K-9 partner, I was directed to contact the Pet Emergency Center. I immediately called and spoke with Carrie. Her caring and empathetic demeanor was soothing. She remained professional and understanding to our needs. Carrie was most helpful and made that real first impression really count! Once there, Dr. Schneider met us and explained the process. She was awesome! My fur-baby looked similar to one of hers. Dr. Schneider was caring, compassionate, sympathetic and professional. She sat on the floor with us and held my fur-baby's paw until he took his last breath. This Pet Emergency Center (Dr. Schneider & Carrie) get "Two Thumbs-Up, with a Group Hug!" For being such wonder, caring people in this not so nice world. THANK YOU, Dr. Schneider and Carrie!!
