I cannot say enough good things about Kimpton Shorebreak! My friends and I stayed here for 3 days. We arrived at 11am and were given early check in. The front desk staff member who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. We spent a lot of time at the rooftop pool and bar throughout our time here. Bartenders and wait staff were so kind , drinks were great (we got massive aperol spritz for $16), and food was fresh and very reasonably priced. We loved the octopus salad and shrimp salad! Our room was clean and big enough for 4 women to share. You pay a $38 resort fee per day per room. Totally worth it for free chairs at the beach, free bike rentals, beach yoga classes, pool access, & free wine at hotel happy hour.Hotel is a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and coffee shops. For the price, this place far exceeded our expectations. 10/10 recommend!

I had booked a room at the Kimpton Shorebreak through my credit card during spring break. The staff was topnotch! Importunely, our room AC decided not to work during our stay. The front desk supervisor Taylor Bailey did everything under the moon to make sure my wife and I were comfortable until our stay and made sure to redeem the situation with my credit card. I am truly grateful. Every time we come through FFL this will be our hotel of choice. The little detail meant a lot to us.Food & drinks: We ate at La Fuga. Highly recommend them!

Great location couple blocks from the beach. Access to beautiful rooftop pool and bar. The best part was Tichelle at the front desk who was giving a masterclass in hospitality each time we were in lobby. Will be back!!

I really appreciated it. The room was very good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. A few blocks from the beach. Chairs are provided by the sea. Near the restaurants, festive atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel.Rooms: The room was very good.Nearby activities: A few blocks from the beach. Lots of restaurant choices. Festive atmosphere.Food & drinks: We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant/pool. Very expensive, our dinner cost us almost double what our dinners cost us during our 5 day stay.Noteworthy details: Near the beach, restaurant.

We have been multiple times. Love it.The staff is amazing and knowledgeable, the rooms are updated and clean, and the location is perfect… walkable to beach and perfectly separated from everything. My only complaint is the kids and babies around the pool… all day every day. Maybe make a rule of no kids before 2pm?

Hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale!WeThe property has several cute courtyards and nooks to sit and relax outside. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and well designed. The free glass of wine at the 5:00 social hour was a nice touch. There was no coffee or tea maker in the room but a nice coffee station in the lobby every morning. The hidden rooftop pool was such a nice surprise. It has a great view and plenty of great seating options for relaxing.Rooms: Rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Nice size fridge and large bathroom were very appreciated.Nearby activities: Beach is very close and the rooftop pool is a hidden gem!Walkability: The beach is just a short walk from the property. 2 beach chairs with towel covers are included in the resort fee

We were checked in by a lovely female who was very professional and approachable and I am embarrassed I cannot remember her name but she displayed excellent customer Service at check in and out. She explained how to get to the amenities like the rooftop pool and bar which had a great view of the water and was very relaxing in the evening. We did not eat at the restaurant there but the food smelled and looked amazing in a relaxed but boutique atmosphere. there were many cozy places around the hotel for families to enjoy outdoors, for example there was an area for mini golf and a set up for Cornhole and other outdoor games. The room was minimalist and I'm in love with that concept and the bed was comfortable. The shower was different since it didn't have a full door but the design didn't have water going everywhere so that's a bonus. I was sad to only stay one night before a cruise but I will definitely stay here again.

Good afternoon, Kimpton Hotel. I wanted to express my satisfaction with my first-time stay at your hotel. It was a great experience, and I will definitely be returning. The views of the sunset and sunrise were breathtaking, and the rooms and pools were exceptional.I have previously worked at several other hotels and restaurants, including the Line hotels and Hotel Monaco.I would like to highlight a few individuals who made my stay particularly memorable:Tashelle (Front Desk): Throughout my entire stay, Tashelle provided an outstanding level of service. She is a valuable team member who made us feel at home with her warm demeanor and constant smile. Tashelle's hospitality skills are exceptional, and she consistently went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. With her passion for excellence, Tashelle has the potential to be an incredible asset as a manager at your hotel.Ricardo (Bartender): Ricardo was not only friendly but also highly professional in his role as a bartender. He demonstrated excellent training and composure even during busy periods. Ricardo took the time to engage with us, providing recommendations for food and drinks from the menu. His knowledge of cocktails was extensive, making him one of the main reasons we frequented the bar. Ricardo always greeted us with a warm smile, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Will (Bartender): Will was also very friendly as a bartender. Despite being busy during rush hour, he remained focused and professional in his work. However, I believe that on busy days during happy hour, La Fuga could benefit from having a barback on duty to assist with restocking supplies while taking orders and making drinks. Will also greeted us warmly with a smile whenever we visited the bar, making us feel welcome. He is a great bartender too.Overall, my experience at your hotel was exceptional due to the outstanding service provided by Tashelle, Ricardo, and Will. They truly embody professionalism and dedication to their roles, and I hope to see them grow within your company.Nearby activities: Everything is near around the hotel. The perfect location. Also 3 minutes walking to the beach .

The room was clean and spacious enough, and the staff were warm and accommodating. It felt like the hotel had recently undergone a change of management but we were well-taken care of. Great choice for visiting Ft. Lauderdale beaches!

I stayed at the hotel for 4 days for vacation! Very kind staff and always open to help you out. Food is amazing either on the rooftop or at the restaurant La Fuga. Bonus, as a solo woman traveler, I felt super safe. I look forward to go again next year! ✌?❤️

The good: front desk folks are very nice and friendly, to us and to our pups. La Fuga on-site restaurant was good with great service. The not-so-good: room was not cleaned during our stay, even though we mentioned to housekeeper we were leaving and would like the room tidied up.The AC unit had a loud clicking sound that went on every few seconds all night long. The view included a two-wheel cart, a pallet of tile, a linen wheel cart, propane tanks, and a maintenance trash container. Very disappointing, especially since last year’s stay included a view of the back of the front neon sign, and we were promised better this year.

This is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel and an embarrassment for the Kimpton Brand. The staff is very friendly, but it is obviously lacking true managers with an oversight or care of the entire customer experience. The rooms, hallways, elevators and common areas are very "beat-up" with lots of paint chips and stains in the carpet. It does not seem that routine deep cleaning takes place around corners of the room, bed and bathrooms. The elevator had a yellow stain on the floor for multiple days using it (dog urine?). Cleanliness standards are not enforced, especially for the amount of staff I see. There are crumbs, coffee, stains, dust etc. on every surface in the dining and common area if you take a look at any wall, baseboard or table pedestal. The pool terrace has the same leaves, hair and left over staws, etc. from day to day. Why is it not tidied and mopped up daily? Breakfast was included in our rate and it was mediocre. You only get $20 credit per person on the menu, and it is almost impossible to spend only that if you get a real breakfast and a coffee or juice. Just so lame. To top it off the parking is astronomically expensive and many of the younger valet stuff does not greet you, offer to hold the door or load your vehicle (run by a third party company called Dec Parking LLC).The drinks in the bar are weak (and the last call is apparently 6:30 pm on weekdays, shockingly early), there is not coffee available all day (ends 10:30 am) on the premises and the wifi is not fast enough (8-20 mbps down, almost 0 mbps up). For the price, there is much better in Fort Lauderdale.Rooms: Could easily be a lot cleanerFood & drinks: AverageNoteworthy details: It is more of a renovated motel without the upgrades, training and attention to make it a fully transformed "4 star" hotel
