I walked into Walmart for something else and asked about the price for a haircut. I have long highlighted hair. Last year I went to a place where I got a horrible cut with layers all over the place and all wrong. I've finally let it grow out and I've developed split ends. She told me me it was $25 for a shampoo and cut. I scheduled for the next day. I am so happy I did. The lady who cut my hair is a gem! The wash was absolutely pitiful. It was more like a rinse. But I definitely got a fantastic haircut. I was nervous because of past experiences and nervous because it was at Walmart. But I am so happy I went there. I will definitely be going back.
Update: This is a GREAT HAIRCUT!

Child haircut should not take more than 15 minutes....my 5 year old grandson was in the chair over an hour. I had to keep pointing out the crookedness of his hair. Super pissed I spent that kind of money for a haircut that he no longer has hair to look like a fade because of the unevenness of her cut because she had to keep cutting and cutting to make it look even. After his haircut, I finished my shopping and then went back and asked another hairdresser to fix the uneven cut. I Will not be back!! A huge amount of my time was wasted this morning and am still very unhappy with his haircut. Upon checking in, (which I was the first customer of the day) I sensed something with the hairdresser and was assured by I am assuming the manager, that she's a little cookey but an on point hairdresser and I took her word for it. As she was cutting his hair another hairdresser showed up (which is who attempted to correct the cut) didn't even know who she was. That's when I found out she was brand new....why would this lady tell me she is an amazing hairdresser when from my understanding, nobody really knows her, she just started. Very very disappointed, I do not recommend whatsoever!! SAVE YOUR $$$!!!!!

My stylist was very nice. I told her I wanted my layers cut shorter. The only thing is she cut my front hair into bangs, which I did not request. Other than that i was satisfied with the rest of the haircut. I also bought a can of mousse.
Requested style: My hair was already layered. I just wanted the layers cut shorter.only complaint is that every time I make an appointment i still have to wait 15-25 munutes.

As an HR person, it appears one of your stylists is in need of shadow coaching on the register or a step sheet to properly enter clients and payments. My stylist was frustrated with having to leave me to assist her. She also suggested note taking as part of the learning process. A follow up from the regional manager should be in order, less the salon become toxic and stressful, with the potential of losing a stylist. Thank you.
