My first visit to this E'wood location was great, as expected. They had my fave cod sandwich hot & ready, plus a nice craft beer selection!

I have lived here in Englewood for 12 years. This is hands down my favorite place to shop. I can usually find everything that I need, and if I can't find there are plenty of friendly helpful staff to guide me in the right direction or special order something for me. They make the best sandwiches of any Publix I have ever been to.

I can't believe shopping at a grocery store could make me happy to live in Florida!! Lol...the staff at Olde Village Publix are soooo nice,
helpful and so considerate. Especially Stefano and Crystal the store manager. If you are having any concerns don't hesitate to find them. I usually leave Publix with a smile on my face. Happy ?

Publix is the best grocery store in the US! Not the cheapest, but pretty good!

I love Publix and shop at my local store (Auburndale) weekly, I work in customer service so I am always very polite to others that work in stores and never leave bad reviews but unfortunately my experience at this store was awful. We were staying in Englewood to fish for the weekend and I went to this store around 7:45 Saturday morning to get food for the boat. I walked up to the deli and asked the lady if I was able to order a sub at this time and she told me yes and walked to the back to get someone to assist me. The gentleman walked out (I think his name was Joshua) and I could immediately tell he was not happy. I proceeded to tell him what kind of sub I want, which did not make him happy because none of the turkey was sliced so he proceeded to go slice it, he came back and asked what cheese I would like and I said provolone please and that was not sliced yet either he proceeded to say to me "well I guess I have to go slice that for you now too" and then said to the lady slicing meat "you realize you got here too early" and she thought he was talking to her and then said "no I'm talking about the customer ordering a sub at 8am" while staring at me. I said well sir the lady stated I was able to order a sub right now and we're going on the boat so that's why I'm ordering one so early. Once the sub was made he handed it to me and said sarcastically "is that all you need? Or is there more?"
I have never experienced a worker so rude at Publix before, it honestly ruined my morning and I wanted to walk away while he was making my sub because of all the snarky comments he was saying. This location is right on the water and should be used to customers wanting subs early to prepare for their boat day. I will never go back to this Publix- I'd rather drive 10 more mins down the road to hopefully experience better customer service.

I do not appreciate getting laughed at. I would fire that little girl working at the liquor store tonight in a second.
