Entered the store today and after wandering around in the appliance section for 20 minutes looking for an employee, I found a disgruntled Karen employee who had been chatting with 2 ladies for the 20 minutes we had been waiting around to order a Washer and Dryer. The customers chatting seemed to have no intention of purchasing anything at the time, yet the employee let us know she was helping 3 others and that I don't deserve help just because I am ready to check out. The employee sits down after tossing things violently onto her desk so she can order the washer and dryer. (At this point if I hadn't had 600 dollars in credit at Home Depot I would have gladly gone to Lowe's). The employee then asks all of her questions with a very irritated tone and vile attitude until the conclusion of the order, where we both unhappily departed. I tried to call a manager while in store but that took forever to reach someone, so we left with the feeling that we aren't wanted to return. I have concluded that without some kind of compensation to my order for this terrible experience your employee decided to put us through, that will be the last encounter I will put myself through at Home Depot. 0 out of 5 Stars today.

Buyer Beware!!Due to the Christmas tree shortage this year, we were forced to buy a tree free Home Depot.Not only is the tree dying, but some idiot cut all of the main branches on this Fraser Fir! Folks like fir trees for the undulation of it's branches that lends it perfect for decorating with larger ornaments and dangly ornaments. $189 later, as I'm trying to put lights on this poor tree, I realize that I'm going to have to chunk the tree!! It is obvious that somewhere through the process, someone took electric hedge clippers and "trimmed" all of the main branches. All that's left are the little baby inner branches.I'm calling and getting a refund.

The Home Depot it is unbelievable that y’all “can’t find” the refrigerator, washer and dryer in the warehouse to get it delivered to my house. Y’all email me and said that it for sure gonna delivered today on 11/18/22 but where WHERE!? I have been waiting all day and haven’t seen no one come by to install it. Have nothing to storage my food and nothing to wash my clothes for my work. Y’all charged me for the items I ordered but now y’all saying that y’all don’t know when it will deliver? I basically got scam.

This store is ridiculed. DO NOT ORDER A REFRIGERATOR, WASHER, OR DRYER FROM THIS WEBSITE. Ordered on 08/30 and have not yet to receive it as of today, 11/18. They have already charged me and had the audacity to say that the item is out of stock when it was supposed to be delivered directly to my house today. When I spoke with the manager, all he said was, "I'm not sure when your stuff will arrive at your house." I could have simply ordered my items elsewhere. It was such a waste of time to come in here and place an order when they "lost" the item in the warehouse. My order kept getting pushed back. I had no washer, dryer, and refrigerator for almost 3 months. If I know yall don't have the item in stock then I wouldn't even wanna wait. AT LEAST TOLD US THAT and lied that yall have it!!

Rented a brush hog for a day. It ran for an hour. Tried restarting it for hour and a half (stopped three times in case it was flooded) and couldn't get it going. Home Depot's solution was to mark $50 off a $150 rental. Job still not done, so now I have to find one somewhere else and pay them as well. Nice job Home Depot.

I must say, Michele and Melton were lifesavers! These two employees went above and beyond to help me with my purchase of patio chairs. They kept me informed as they located the chairs in boxes, had to move other merchandise to free up space to retrieve the large boxes from the top shelf in the garden center, and as they navigated the best way to get them to my car. I might add, before Michele helped me, a separate employee (female) before her seemed too busy to help and suggested I buy the chairs online. Michele was a breath of fresh air and Melton was the hero to make magic happen. My sincere thanks to Home Depot and these two wonderful employees.

My Home Depot: Destin,FL We all need a Home Depot or a Similar retailer to be able to buy the things we want or have to have. Being in constant need of a large hardware and supply store makes it difficult to put a true review out on a particular location. Home Depot Destin is hit or miss for the last 16 yrs I've lived here especially now! The current store MGR is short of every quality of a even sub par Retail Manager. ***Last 12 mos. Employees are always extremely helpful and friendly. A+++ Last Aug 2021. I had bought a pellet grill. Had a lot of issues so I returned the grill to my Home Depot in Destin w/ the intention of returning for a store credit. The Manager told me I had to take it home to clean it first. The Grill was CLEAN and Pretty as it was when we purchased it. I remained cool and calm. Summer Traffic was impossible and I was getting A NEW GRILL THAT WORKED!!! I offered to pressure wash it at the store for him. He scoffed and said I'll have to rent a PR and take it home.(SUPER RUDE ABOUT IT). I was calm. Asst mgrs and employees were apologetic and embarrassed. As soon as The Store Mgr went back to his office. The asst at customer svc Returned the grill and gave me a store credit for not having my receipt. I did buy a new gas grill that day. Only because the other employees there were so helpful and apologetic about the treatment.

The guy working in the paint section cheerfully helped my husband and me pick out the correct type of paint for our project, showed us that the largest can of paint had its own pouring spout and how the smaller can of black paint would look on the metal part of our project. He was delightful. Thank you‼️

"Say, do you think they call it a nail gun because it shoots nails?" ~Al, Home Improvement "Dwayne Johnson paid me to clean up and organize his craft room, but sadly, I lost his scrapbook cutting tool. I lost the Rock's paper scissors." - My father and grandfather were carpenters, but this apple fell far from the tree. But I'm learning. I've found that I like Home Depot. They have a great selection of the stuff I need right now - faucets, ceiling lights, ceiling fans, sinks, vanity lights, and paint). If you need help, shop for someone good. Some are very helpful snd know their stuff, and some are just doing their time. - I was walking up the aisle at my local Home Depot and spotted a cranky looking old man in an orange vest. "Excuse me, could you help me?" I asked. He grunted in response, barely looking at me. "Um, I'm looking for a way to keep my dogs in my backyard. Do you know where those electric leashes are? I'm trying to decide if I should try that or just block it off with a fence or something." He turned to face me and looked me up and down with disdain, "Do we look like a pet store?" And he turned around and walked away. I took a fence. -

we requested for 5 x 8 trailer and they said that they have one, we drove with it to the customer's house for moving 800 pounds item and ending up measured the trailer & it is 2 x 8. it made us so unprofessional for our moving company. i am so upset!!

When you have problem with appliances you purchase here...lol, get ready for pass the buck and sorry i cant help you resolve your problem. Will never buy another appliance from Home depot. You buy a 2,000 fridge and forced to add a ice maker hose under threat of warranty loss...but when the "us pack" installs fridge they cant put water hose on lol why its too short, HD knows this and does not bother to make sure length for correct fit...they just send a 12" so im sure most folks dont get hose hooked up. I live in Ft Walton and visited destin store on a trip and bought the fridge...but when installed in my home the installer gave me the hose and said just return to any HD...my ft walton store cant refund my card so to get the 18 bucks back I must drive 2 hr round trip to return it plus gas...the manager at destin store was completely non sympathetic or caring and it was their issue making me get a hose that installer brings and cant put in but hands to buyer and says just return it lol....HD is on the road to losses because all my business from here on out will be with lowes or another store that don't rip off customers like this. Shameful but for each person HD wrongs will cost them in the long run.

Nice store, well stocked and the staff that are working there are nice, HOWEVER, there are a few problems 1. There are no staff working most time to help or to help answer questions. 2. We purchased a high-end Samsung front loading washer & dryer from this store and it was not fun returning them. The washer did not clear the rinse water from its lines and there was a faint mildew smell that lingered and got worse, after I washed clothes. My Whirlpools brand never did that so I asked the store manager to return them and I would then purchase the Whirlpool brand. The manager informed me that the Home Depot only leases space to vendors and they do not purchase the items for sale and therefore I would need to deal with Samsung directly. Because I had exceeded 90 days by a month, Samsung refused to return the units even though they were defective. Needless to say it took me months to get a credit and have the units returned and the only reason they were returned was because American Express sided with me. During the return, the Manager of the store was very noce.
