The store is big, well organized, clean, and it has everything. We found what we were looking for and then some. Great gift ideas too! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful!

It's functional. I hope corporate reads this because clearly management in this store doesn't care. When it opened it was awesome! The community showed up. I was always coming across friends visiting home or people in the community. There were always author signing, mini cooking classes, and the cafe was better. Then there was a change. Many of us have rumbled about how it used to be. The locals are tired of feeling left out of Destin. Especially in the offseason (which is the majority of the year) they could bring the locals back out with improvements to programming and the cafe. They also need to do some serious refurbishment on fixtures etc. I'm only giving it a one star not because the store is bad but because it was once awesome and now well... why buy here when the management offers nothing but a bookshelf. They have done better and can do better. I'm always willing to upgrade a review if things improve.

I love Barnes and Noble because it's nice to physically hold the book and look at it. Then I put the book down and buy it for $5 - $10 cheaper on Amazon. Nice place though!

Great bookstore, worth the membership for discounts if you're an avid reader. Has toys for the kids and a large selection of books. These are pretty cookie cutter stores but always nice. Especially if there is seating to skim a book in comfort before buying.

Barnes & Noble is such a lovely place to visit. It's especially great when they have book sales that allow you to get the books you want at lower prices. I hope they stay in business. There's nothing like a nice, big friendly bookstore that will allow you to check out the books while enjoying a little cafe.

Very nice layout with a chill atmosphere. Very much in the realm of coming in to grab a book and a hot tea and kill some time. Would get a full 5 if more diabetic options were available from the coffee shop.

Great B&N location! Well stocked, tidy & very friendly/helpful staff. Riley in the coffee shop is such a sweetheart & she makes great coffee!!! It’s the perfect place to curl up with a good book ? & cup of coffee ☕️ on a rainy day or to get some work done. I do wish they opened up a bit earlier in the morning though…

Very friendly staff, clean open book store. Great selection for all ages. I bought a mixology book unicorn unocards and a coloring book. My aunt got some books too.
