I cannot encourage anyone reading this enóugh to just book rooms at the Ray or Seagate. I am a frequent to both of those locations and the rooms and service are incredible. Opal grand is a a glorified Motel 6. Beds are old, pillows are cheap Walmart cotton, you get bar soap and plastic throw-aways (the Ray uses Byredo products for comparison), TVS outdated and the employees treat you Awful. I had to change my booking because of the hurricane and the Seagate & Ray were booked out so I decided what the heck, I'll try the Opal. I won't come back.

I can not say enough good things about our stay here. The room was very clean and always stocked. The staff was always exceptional especially Michael at the front desk. The pool area was very relaxing and accommodating. The location was absolutely perfect to go to the beach, ride bikes, and walk to anywhere you would like to eat. I will definitely be staying here again!

We enjoyed our stay here celebrating my in-laws 60th anniversary. I’m grateful the manager upgraded my in-laws to a 2 bedroom suite overlooking the beach, it was beyond impressive and appreciated. The hotel has a beautiful pool but we were unhappy with construction noise, especially after being told there would be no construction when making an inquiry prior to booking our reservations. The rooms are updated and comfortable. Housekeeping is done daily, although we were upset to find our room left unlocked after returning from dinner one evening. Dryft restaurant is lovely as is the bar area. We were disappointed to see the roof bar terrace close early each night and wondered why it didn’t close later. Overall, we would definitely stay at the Opal Grand again despite my comments noting small irritations, although leaving a room open is a huge fault that needs to be addressed.

The location of this hotel is perfectly situated directly across from the Atlantic with a 30 second d walk to put your feet in the sand and water.
The entire valet crew is amazing and extremely accommodating and friendly. The on-site restaurant was fantastic with room service available. The rooms were clean and cleaning crews stopped by in the morning as well as offered turn down service in the evening.
David and Henry were specifically extra accommodating and helpful with everything from check in to check out.
My only complaint is the Wi-Fi service wasn't strong enough from where I was located but the view of the ocean more than made up for it and forced me to take time to relax.

My husband and I have frequented the Opal Grand in Delray on more than 3 occasions. This year we decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary here! It was a place we could always relay on to provide great service at a beautiful property.. That is now the opposite of our latest experience and we will never be returning.
I’ve never wrote a negative review, however the experience was so poor and after being advised to email higher management; they haven’t had the slightest concern to even reply to the email that they told us to send; I thought I would spare someone else from the experience we had here.
These concerns include but are not limited to:
Live cockroach found next to our bed, broken AC in suite (in September in south Florida) prompting the temperature in our room to be 79 degrees…
When choosing hotels to stay at in Delray, unfortunately the Opal will never be our selection again..

It’s been a while since I have been really happy with a hotel. Most hotels seem severely overpriced compared to what services they offer.
The opal collection was a positive surprise. The hotel features an amazing location with mesmerizing ocean views and proximity to downtown. Everybody was super attentive and friendly. You feel being handhold from the moment they open the doors of your car all the way to the checkout.
The food you can get in the various restaurants / bistros is great too. I always consider breakfast as an important attribute of a hotel and the opal didn’t disappoint.
I would also like to give special credit to Jody, our waitress who is one of a kind and made our breakfast pleasant and entertaining.
Will definitely come back

Incredibly rude staff, not helpful at all. Ocean view rooms on the 3rd floor are blocked by palm trees by the way, so don’t waste your money. They wont help you if you dont book through them, even though their prices are inflated for what you get. Typical south florida behavior.
Update: haven’t heard a word from anyone. Not unusual comments, just stating facts. Seems like your employees need to improve in that regard.

Upon my early arrival, my room was not yet ready, which was understandable. Juliana, however, went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Opal Grand in Delray Beach for four nights, and our experience was exceptional. A significant highlight of our stay was the outstanding service we received from Michael.
From the moment we arrived until our departure, Michael demonstrated incredible hospitality. He was consistently helpful, kind, and friendly, making us feel welcome and valued throughout our stay. His attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile truly enhanced our experience.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with excellent amenities and a fantastic location, but it was Michael's warm attitude and professionalism that really made our trip memorable. We can't thank him enough and look forward to returning to the Opal Grand in the future!
