Here’s my experience: December 23rd ordered a full placard set for my Cessna. I know, just before the holiday. I figured if I got lucky it would be sent out right away. If not, it would be maybe the 27th or so. Had it sent First Class Mail. Why pay a bunch extra if they might not ship it out? First Class mail 1-3 days per the post office. January 4th I called to see if it was sent since I had never received any correspondence saying if it was sent or not. I must say customer service was a little condescending in my opinion. Kept telling me about the holidays. I’m aware we had a holiday. I’ve also received parts from AirPower, Aircraft Spruce and Amazon during this holiday. On January 4th they contacted the vender and they said they hadn’t shipped it but would do so on the 5th. Now it’s Friday January 12. No placards. I call and get the same talk about the holiday. She calls the vender who lets her know they still have not shipped it! I get a refund and wasted 20 days minus some holidays. Should I be mad at Chief Aircraft!? I wish they wouldn’t have dismissed my questions so quickly. It turned out there was a problem. I also believe they need a way to let the customer know if something has shipped. I’m sure with UPS or FedEx that may happen but a quick email saying it’s out the door would be nice. First Class mail is only 1-3 days. If it’s way later you might want to hold your judgement about your customers concerns until you check. They may have a valid issue.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had buying Aircraft Parts. I needed to replace an alternator on my aircraft purchased from chief Aircraft with the understanding if I return my core I can get my $200 core deposit back. It’s been five phone calls a month and a half and they always having an excuse for not giving me my core deposit back. Absolutely Will not be doing business with this company again no reason for it taking this long.

Ordered/paid for a Pilot Rc plane and apparently they have lost Pilot Rc as a supplier. When the hell were they going to let us know. Customer service sucks. can't get orders straight. can't track orders, no customer updates (if I didn't call. I'd still be waiting) and then talk to you like it's your fault. How do you loose a shipping container that is state side??? How do you not trac your shipments?? How do you consistently lie to your customers and stay in business..??

Overall quality and innovations of 26% 73" Laser GB Black ARF are praise worthy.Unfortunately, my kit had a defective elevator assembly with incorrect glueing where left and right side are angled differently.Clear and logical explanations with pictures and drawings were simply ignored and denied saying Pilot RC's manufacturing process can not have a defect because they use "jigs". Wake up. Even F-35 parts come with defects with best methods.Neither reps: Freddy and Steve proved why my logic was wrong. They only repeated how it can be fixed, and it is NOT heat warped like you claim.Steve said with so little deviation, it'll just fly ok, and he's been building since 80's.How ignorant. I've been building since 80's myself, but who started recently is not dumber than you.FYI, I competed in F3A, IMAC and IAC. IAC is full scale aerobatic competition.... but that does not make me better than you. Those comments were utterly useless.Defect is a defect and should be taken care of by manufacturer or seller. What started as a question made an enemy against Chief and Pilot RC.

Great and convenient place for aircraft parts etc. And for all you model enthusiasts, they carry a full line of products.
