This hotel was one of the best small hotels I have ever stayed at. The rooms are extremely clean and the pool/patio was a great place to grill and hang out with our friends. The staff are second to none and make you feel like you are part of their family. Shout out to Sam for helping us with organizing some activities while we were there, and Drew for making sure we always had anything we needed. They are really outstanding.Rooms: The rooms are EXECPTIONALLY clean and well taken care of.Nearby activities: The beach is across the street, and there is a nice little park a block away too. It’s also walking distance to restaurants, shops, and bars.Safety: Staff is always around and the area was safe enough that I felt fine with my mom walking around the neighborhood by herself.

I booked a room here and unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute. I did lose my deposit, but the balance was not charged. I have to say there were so nice about it, I wanted to give them some credit! I’ll definitely book here when I need a hotel next time! And will recommend it to my friends visiting. Looks like such a cute place!

I would give more stars but I can’t .I went with 2 of my friends and couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. They made us feel at home, and showed that they actually cared making sure our time spent was a good one. I definitely recommend staying here, and will be my place a stay next time I’m in Florida.Rooms: Very clean and comfortableNearby activities: Lots of restaurants, beaches, & and many other fun activitiesSafety: Very safe placeWalkability: Not even a 3 minute walk to the beach!!!Noteworthy details: Makes you feel at home

The doors to enter your room were awful. We finally figured ours out on day two but this Older gentleman tried for 3 hours to get in his room and was so frustrated. We ended up helping him by him pressing the code in and us trying to open the door. Finally got him in poor guy. The renovations all over the area were botched like someone hired a slum lord to complete repairs. The bathroom door, horrible idea. Do not put barn doors as bathroom doors. People need privacy. If you do put those types of doors in, please please please make sure you level the dang tracks so halfway through going to the bathroom the door doesn't want to run away on you and everyone see your stuff. Also, the pool had a sign closed due to sanitation but the property manager said oh no, it's fine. The health department just hasn't been back to remove the sign. Call them, get ahold of them, and get them to come and collect the sign. It's not hard. I have been in way better places for cheaper however, the photos online of this place just do it way more justice than in person. Won't be staying here again.

We were pleasantly surprised with Honu Cove. The room was very clean. The pool was nice and the staff was great. Even though the office is closed, staff was there, everyday, making sure you had clean towels, empty trash cans, and anything else you might need. We will definitely stay here again. Very relaxing 8 days!! Forgot to mention the beach is only a block away and beautiful.

If you are looking for a room on a budget this is the right spot! has a nice pool, plenty of parking, and walking distance from the beach and downtown area. The only thing is that one of the stairways outside is broken and has caution tape and ominous "stay off" spray painted there. Our room was upstairs right by that stairwell so we had to lug our stuff a much longer way. Other than that, I liked it!The room was clean and renovated with tile and a nice shower and kitchenette. I was sad it didn't have a toaster, and although there was a mssg to guest on the wall about how they only clean with household dishwashing soap (not food service stuff), those mugs dont even look like theyve been cleaned with soap, had brown stains in the bottom.The room had a Roku which was nice cuz we could watch whatever we wanted and the thermostat was high tec and easy to mess with.Overall, i think it's a bang for your buck. Enjoy your stay here

Talking with your friends about your worst hotel experience? Well then rest assured this dive of a hotel in a dicey area of Deerfield Florida is the place you will talk about. Overpriced for the smelly stale musty room. The management will out right lie to you about the availability of parking and they say oh well sucks to be you. If you complain they call the Sheriff and claim you are trespassing. Lol how are you trespassing when you paid for the shitty room??? I'm not sure. Maybe it's because I'm from NY. But this is not the place you want to be..

The rooms were super clean and tidy when I arrived, especially the bathroom. The staff of the place were really nice and I enjoyed my stay entirely! The pool is soothing and beach is only a walk away which makes it a ideal place to spend time in. I would definitely want revisit again! 10/10

Me and my wife stayed at the Honu mid January and the service was extremely friendly. The vibe there was very genuine and authentic which is what me and my wife look forward to. The honu appeared to be doing some partial renovations and I can't wait to come back and see it!

Very bad!Already on arrival, we were simply approached in the parking lot and received our room number and our pin for our room.That was already the whole welcome.After that we went to the room and what can I say it did not get better.I don't know how good reviews could be written here.We have been traveling in Florida for three weeks and this hotel was by far the worst!!!!We did not have clean towels. There were stains and hair on every towel.Which is why we had to use our beach towels.Under our bed it was very dirty.The floor in general has apparently not been cleaned in a while.Our door would not close properly.I could write more now, but in short just leave this hotel alone and book another one.

I can not thank the Manager Steve enough. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND for my son and I during our stay here. The hotel was great, literally across the road from the most perfect beautiful beach. Close to every and anything you may need. Clean, quiet, and had anything you will need. CANT WAIT TO GO BACK!!!

Drew and his Crew were excellent. The rooms were clean. We stayed 6 days and they were very helpful. The location to beach, restaurants and shops were excellent. Enjoyed our stay. We would go back.
