Absolutely DISGUSTING front desk phone clerk. Her attitude was unbelievably rude for no reason. You ask a simple question and get a nasty response like you're wasting their time. Whoever owns this hotel needs some SERIOUS customer service training for your entire staff. No wonder this place is riddled with 1 star reviews. Gross inside and gross attitude.

Hawaii inn is the dirtiest hotel to stay in Daytona shores the rooms are filthy and when me and my husband and kids stay their the room service is horrible when I ask the room service to clean my room she begs for a large tip we pulled back the sheets and saw bed bug the size of a penny
And they never change the sheets and the room I stayed in had dog hair from the previous renters the lady at the front desk at night is very disrespectful and cussed me out and have attitude 1/10 would not recommend

It's cheaper to stay in this 2 queen bed, couch, recliner, full bathroom, and full kitchen extended stay room than staying at a Motel 6 in St. Joseph, MO. Great heated pool. Air Conditioning wouldn't turn off and we kind of froze our 1st night here. 7-11 just a block up the road for coffee. Beach access directly to the south of this building. We are very happy with everything about this place. It's been worth it. Highly recommend

Not the cleanest place.
However, I think it's just dated and old salt life at the beach. Rusts everything my room was clean. Thank God for the ticki hut serving food at 9 o'clock at night. I didn't have to drive anywhere. I was fed. Then had a great bourbon....

We stayed here during Memorial Day weekend. We had booked directly through their website. When we checked in they said we had to pay a $75 deposit. We paid it. Stayed the night and checked out the next day. We left the room in great shape and never received a refund on our deposit. It was a great location, we had a great view of the beach. The bed sucked, was super hard and the mattress should have been replaced a decade ago. I am super annoyed they didn’t refund the deposit. They never contacted us that they were keeping the deposit for any reason. If you book here plan on spending an extra $75 at check in and never seeing the money again. When we checked out, we asked about the deposit. They said they had to inspect the room before issuing a refund. They likely cleaned the room (not much needed) and kept the money without reaching out to us. The property is run down, the pool was nice, the room was just ok, furniture was old and beat up. The sliding door to the balcony required extensive effort to open and close. I can’t recommend this place in good faith. If you pay a deposit, make sure you pester them until they return it, because they won’t automatically.

We had accommodations here this past weekend for the Daytona races, talk about disgust…. The first room we had the room wasn’t even cleaned no washcloths and a hole in the ceiling then to top it off, My daughter went to get in bed, and there was a junk ring in the bed which meant the room was not cleaned. I decided to switch rooms, well the pics are below. The staff was awful all had RBFs with major attitudes even if you asked a question you received an answer with an attitude. I didn’t see one housekeeper the whole two days I stayed there. Hawaiian Inn was not worth a dollar let alone 350.00 for a 2-night stay.
