Hi this company is on a hiatus. They are not accepting any appointments right now, via phone or website. The website is also down. I was really excited to try them out as the business page states they're open, but I was not able to see anyone. Then when I called, the message states that they are taking a "pause." Again the hours should be updated. I appreciate that they did leave a voice memo for their clients or future clients. They definitely set a good tone. It doesn't seem they shut down completely as they said, they are on at a slight pause. Please let us know when you're back.

The skills the Maggie Rose stylists have are exceptional. The customer service, however, is less so. I have called Maggie Rose twice, texted the number they have on their website, and one of the stylists personally trying to ask the same question that I’ve had for weeks about cost in regards to hair length (if the service would cost less if I had significantly shorter hair). I have not once received a response or a text back. I have been to Maggie Rose before and like I said they give amazing results. They just can’t seem to answer the phone...Service: Curly hair

It is very hard to find a truly skilled curl specialist. No joke. My curly /textured- haired daughters have schooled me on the techniques and products required. It's not cheap and you definitely get what you pay for. That said, you get more than you pay for at Maggie Rose. My son booked a Master first time curl shape session at their Davie location to revive his fried fro. The master stylist Josephine did a fabulous job. Plus, he was seen on time and in and out in 2 hours- which is really impressive. Expect to pay a deposit to reserve your spot and read the very detailed but clear booking instructions on their website. This is a no frills but clean and comfortable salon - in a strip mall- easy to get to off of University. No-frills perhaps, but excellent, pro service and you will be thrilled with the results! Book ahead as they appear to have only 2 main stylist at least at this location. Josephine was amazing.

I have always been so weary about getting my hair cut. Most stylists do not know how to cut curls and they always give me a much shorter cut because they seem to forget about curl shrinkage. Briana did a phenomenal job and my hair hasn't looked this good in months. She taught me so much about caring for my curls. I've recently moved to southern florida and my hair was aggravated with the humidity. I was finally able to learn exactly what to do to care for them. So happy with my hair and Briana is so kind and sweet This salon is very welcoming!

Went to see Briana and she was awesome. I am a bit scarey when it comes to my curly hair because of previous situations and I’m happy that I found her. Although I’ve been curly all my life, I have learned so many invaluable tools and products that continues to keep my hair happy. Highly recommend.

As a former customer that used to attend Maggie Rose Salon, I am severely disappointed with the treatment I had received from the colorist.I had received an email saying that the salon had Thanksgiving availability, so I called to see if I could book an appointment for highlights. The woman who answered the phone was very polite and helpful. She told me that since I do not live in Miami and am only coming to visit, I could send pictures of my hair as is and the colorist would get back to me.I work in food service and have to slick my hair back with gel and a slicking brush every day. When she told me to send pictures of my hair to see the grow-out, I sent her pictures of my hair as is (the curl pattern was stretched out due to the slicking brush). I got a call back from the colorist, Josephine, and she was extremely rude. She told me that she would not accept me as a client or even go close to my head because my hair was "severely damaged". I explained to her that my hair only looked stretched out because of my work situation and I did not have time to wash it before sending the pictures. She proceeds to tell me that she can clearly see I have severely damaged hair, insinuating that I am lying about my own hair. She goes on to say I should not even be dying my hair. I asked her if she would be open to looking at pictures of my hair when it is washed, or if we can set up a Facetime call for her to look at my hair. She proceeds to tell me I need an in person consultation. When i had expressed my concerns and hesitation about driving 35 minutes to get a consultation if she already knew she was not going to take me on a client, she said "Im going to be straight up with you, I am not going to take you on a a client".You would think that since I am used to pay close to $350 for my hair, the salon would try their best to work with me. The colorist, Josephine, instead implied that I was lying when I said I had curly hair, and did not even try to make an effort to see other pictures or a Facetime call. I was extremely disappointed, as I said earlier I have been to Maggie Rose Salon before. Hair salons are supposed to be a welcoming place, instead I felt belittled and bullied. Would not recommend.I have attached a picture of my hair right when I get out of the shower and don't apply any product. I hate that it has come to this, and I feel like I have to prove to the salon that I do, indeed, have curly hair. This review serves as a warning that you might be called a liar at this salon.Service: Curly hair

Josephine was very warm and welcoming, and patient, veeeerrrry patient with my hair. The passion that she has for taking care of our natural curls illuminated and it was very apparent. I walked out of there with a new found confidence in treating and maintaining my curls and a host of information with the right products to care and style my hair in between visits. I'm very happy that I decided to give Maggie Rose and Josephine my time.

This salon and/or some of the stylists don't care about you. They want your money. Period. Full stop. Other reviewers have stated that they (clients) were just dropped due to their "vibe". One could use other ways to describe "vibe" as race, gender, influence...Do not trust this salon!
