State Farm as of October 2023 changed their policy and required the full six month policy amount paid in full the first 30 days instead of six small payments. After that then you can make monthly payments on a six month policy. The company does not honor your long standing track record with your old insurance company.

Staff is very friendly, very helpful, and give the appearance that they care. With excellent credit and no tickets or accidents in over a decade. I asked why my insurance was so high. The answer given was, your vehicles are high in theft and accidents from others in the state. They are a higher liability to insurance companies. We have a 2016 minivan and had a 2019 Colorado at the time. I don't quite understand how these vehicles are high risk vehicles. My old boss drove a challenger and paid a third of what I pay.

For about the 7th time in 12 months they have removed our multipolicy discount and billed us more. We then have to call to make them fix it. The will add a credit to the next months bill but then do it again the following month.. I have never dealt with such incompetence in my life.

Filed a claim for a car accident. Car has been at the local tow lot for nearly a week. They refuse to tow it to the body shop. Likely to avoid working on the claim. I could have paid the towing company days ago to tow it the mile it needed to go to the body shop. But state farm said it would be done in 24 hours. When we mentioned this they promptly told us there was no time frame for tows.I guess my car will be in limbo indefinitely. Probably won't stop them for charging me my monthly fee though.Can't get a straight answer out of anyone.Buyer beware. Don't expect speedy or helpful anything.
