I am not sure what has happened to this Publix in the past couple of months. I have been coming here for nearly 14 years and finally I need to move onto a different Publix. Many new faces I see in the past couple of months are just rude. They seem bothered if you ask them for something. Produce Dept always has rotted vegetables and if you ask if they have any fresh ones, they give you a look like these should be good enough. Or they roll their eyes. I'm tired, of buying vegetables, cutting them and seeing they're rotted and having to throw them out. The meat department can be quite scary. I have never met one nice person that is willing to be helpful. They all look so angry all the time. I'm not sure if they're just unhappy with their job or they're just unhappy altogether. The only good review I will give is their deli, and I am going to miss them. They have such a great group of people. Even their manager is the sweetest lady I've ever met and her employees always seem so happy to work with her. Wish the rest of the store could be that way. Publix be cautious of who you hire. Be cautious of your supervisors and managers and the people they bring into your store to work. A few bad seeds can spread.

1 On several occasions dating back to the old location I tried to get help from the meat dept emply and was totally ignored but they had no problem helping other shoppers. Same thing in new location. 2 New location on several occasions tried to check out in 10 and under lane by mistake no one in front or behind me cashier refused to check me out. 4 Customer behind me had 12 items same cashier refused to check her out no one behind her 5 Elderly customer using a cane in front of me was checking out cashier rang her up, bag person and cashier just stood there, I said to her I will help you & baged her groceries for her. We are the ones who pay their bills and wages. Show A little respect

This Publix is always neatly stocked. I like the way they decorate for various holidays. I also like the wide variety of gift cards for all sorts of other stores. That helps when I am buying gifts in a hurry. You can't beat their BOGO specials. They are legendary. On the other hand, I have not had luck with their flowers. They don't seem to live for too long. Even the orchid plants have disappointed me. I enjoy chatting with some of the baggers. They are sweet and so helpful. I also like how Publix had numerous opportunities to donate to charity. It is an easy way to donate to some great causes.

This is definitely one of my top favorite Publix to come grocery shopping. It's always clean and organized; things are easy to find && the best of it all it's that the sushi days (Wednesday) are sooo good . The staff that makes the sushi it's amazing , they are very attentive and friendly.

Whenever I visit Florida. I stop by Publix in the area for items need which almost always are fresh fruits and local vegetables to balance out the extra meals we expect to eat out. This Publix has an amazing area of local fruits and a great selection of wine. Sunscreen is a must in the Florida sun and found some that was better for the environment and oceans . Customer service was right on point and several employees were happy to help us find our items since the store was fairly large. I didn't even have PTSD from working at Publix many moons ago in HS and college and having to wear that awful green polyester long pants outfit in the Florida heat for 3 years.haha. Would definitely recommend this Publix with plenty of parking and great customer service.

Pharmacist Andre is the best! Always goes above and beyond to help. Thank you Andre and the rest of the Publix Pharmacy staff at Countryside Shops for all that you do!

The employees here are always so friendly. They acknowledge you whenever you walk by them and will ask if you need any help if they see you lingering down an aisle. We recently had someone ask if we needed help and for once, I did. I was looking for a jar of Sweet Salad Peppers but couldn't find it. When I told the associate, he checked on his phone and saw that they had it in stock. He looked all over the shelves and then started scanning the barcode on the shelves. I was about to tell him not to worry about it and that I would be back later in the week but he kept looking. He finally found it hidden behind a jar that someone put in the wrong place. I was impressed with his dedication to help rather than just telling me that they didn't have it. We have also had "special" cakes made by Kelly in the Bakery. My girls have a unique sense of humor and when it was one of their sister's birthday, they decided they wanted a picture cake. They selected a picture of their sister with one eye that was almost swollen shut from cat allergies. It's a running joke with that daughter and hot dogs so we asked Kelly if she could make a border of hot dogs around the cake and she came through! She cut up lady fingers to make the buns and dyed the frosting so that it looked like a hot dog! The cake was a hit! Lol I wish I still had the picture to post but I'm sure that my daughter wouldn't be too happy with me if I did!

I have been going to Publix ever since I was a child. I still do sometimes but not nearly as often as I used to. In the past month, I have gotten very annoyed with this location. Mostly, the employees are really nice and helpful. I have has three issues lately here that have really irritated me. They put next to no meat on their subs! I read that somebody said this on a food blog I belong to but really didn't pay think much about it. But they are right! I ordered a sub and thought they forgot the meat since I did not taste any. I guess they proportion the meat beforehand and it is very limited. I used to really like their subs but I guess I've expanded my horizons in the past couple years. Their batteries. In the past couple weeks I needed AA batteries quick. My wireless computer mouse needed them and I had none at home. I went to Publix for the batteries and they were out of the name brand batteries. So, I was stuck buying Publix brand batteries. One battery lasted all of two weeks. I don't even use my desktop computer that much since I'm mainly on the iPad. This morning, I had a zoom meeting and the mouse wasn't working. I went and got one of the batteries to replace it and I did a total of 5 Zoom meetings and by the last one of the day, that battery went bad too. That is ridiculous. These batteries are not expired either. The last thing that has made me mad at the store is my birthday cake. I usually get a Baskin-Robbins or Cold Stone cake but I remembered how good Publix vanilla cakes are. So, I requested that for my birthday. Mom ordered a cake that was supposed to have cookies and cream Breyers ice cream instead of Publix brand ice cream which I don't like. We cut into the cake and it was all vanilla. Not even cookies and cream. I tasted the ice cream and knew right away it was Publix brand. If you have tasted Publix ice cream and Breyers Ice Cream, you can definitely tell the difference. It specifically said Breyers ice cream on the order form. My birthday cake is not very good. My mom called the bakery to tell them the problem with the cake and the lady said you have to request Breyers ice cream. Well, Breyers was listed on the order form. In fact, they told her it would be an extra $0.84. I guess that was the red flag because the cake was $24.99. I just feel like they are dropping the ball lately and not taking pride in their products.

Went to this publix to pick up money from western union from my sister in japan and I was racially profiled. The girl at the customer service desk denied giving me the money because I was clearly black but i'm black and japanese and she tried to make it seem like It was about my ID. Yes it expired a week ago but I let her know and showed her the paper as well and she still denied me the money. I had to go to a different publix where I'm not being helped by prejudice people.

Yet another location and business that I don't understand negative reviews for. Maybe people catch them on an off-day but I have been in here a multitude of times because this is my closest Publix and I have never once had a negative experienced here. Everything from the parking, to the well-lit parking lot, to the clean parking lot dot-dot-dot anyways you get it, the parking lot is always clean and the carts are always picked up promptly and swiftly by the workers making sure they are enrolling around bumping into any cars accidentally. When it comes to the interior of this Publix it is the same layout as basically every other Publix now, which for me is always a benefit because I know exactly where these items are going to be that I am looking for. The shelves are always stocked well and all of the produce always looks fresh. I have never look through items, such as tomatoes and found any mushy ones. If anything they are under ripe which is great because that means I can buy them and not have to worry about it going bad quickly. The staff of this Publix is also always so friendly and they will go out of their way to make sure your shopping trip is a very easy and pleasurable one. Which is exactly what they Pride themselves on with their logo where shopping is a pleasure. I can't say anything about the prices here because they are the same exact prices as any of the other Publix has but I can say that the prices are always good and if you stack them on top of the coupons from their weekly ad, you can definitely get your bang for your buck here to say the least.

I've been to many Publix in my life and the one near my house is the best so far. When you walk in they great you with a smile. Well maybe not now because of the mask but I know they are smiling. With the mask on haha . Also in every isle you will find an employee close by . And they will help you if needed . Everything is neat on the shelf. They always have whatever you need not a day I go in there and can't find exactly what I'm looking for. They have awesome deals so make sure you sign up with your phone number because if you do you can score some free stuff . The food is also always fresh between sushi , fish subs etc.

I used to love this store & drove out of my neighborhood to shop there, but won’t be doing that anymore. Shame, shame, shame on you Publix Super Market at Countryside Shops for not allowing your employees to wear gloves especially the cashiers & personnel that bag groceries & help customers to their car. In order to show a positive image, you are endangering your employees’ health as well as your customers’ by not taking every precaution against COVID-19. You lost one customer today!

I live in Weston and usually shop at my local Weston Commons Publix where I’m used to getting great service. I happened to be a the Ross next door to this location; when my son called for me to pick up a simple Turkey Sub for him. Horrible service at the Deli Counter. I was the only one waiting for a Sub. No one attended to me; meanwhile there were three ladies walking around, cutting meats etc. I waited over ten mins or more before I was helped and the older Spanish lady was not friendly either. Unreal. Never again. Will stick to my Weston Neighborhood Publix!

I don't understand the bad reviews about this Publix. The only negative thing about this place is there is basically no cell reception so you need to connect to their Wi-Fi when you're in there. Everything they have here is the general price that you would find it at any other storm that isn't considered Whole Foods or natural place such as that. The Isles are very easy to understand and labeled by hanging signs if you would look up. The fruit section as well as the vegetables are always very fresh and I've only ever had one problem with a cantaloupe being past its desired date. The bakery workers here are very enjoyable to talk to and they know exactly what to do with the requests you may have when it comes to cakes or other items. My only problem with this place is that there are always so many registers but they only ever have 3 I work for open at any given time. Other than that is place is great and I'm glad that it's close by where I live!
