Here is a list of pros and cons—
Pros- rooms were spacious and well equipped. Hotel was clean for the most part. Bed were comfy except not a fan of those pillows. My MAJOR con was the bathroom. Both the light in the bathroom and and the vanity were very dimly lit. With three females. We all ended up having to buy a mirror and stand by the hotel window to do our make up, tweeze eyebrows, etc. Whoever designed those bathrooms did not think of women doing their make up at all. This is a major con for any female going to any event, or even throwing on some blush in that lighting was difficult. A very easy fix would be to provide a lighted mirror for women, (which I have seen attached to the wall in many hotels) Another con was the knowledge of the staff. I had called previously because I needed to know the layout of the room to accommodate my son. The front desk did not even know what a layout or floor plan even was. ?I also called to see if there were a Keurig’s in the room so I could bring my own K cups. Even asked for a manager and left a detailed message with zero response. Very disappointing.
I also wish they had a coffee station like most hotels seem to have these days. As an avid coffee drinker. This is a nice perk that most hotels offer these days. If you’re a gym goer. There was plenty of space in the room for a great gym, but consisted only of cardio machines and dumbbells.
Other than that. The staff seemed friendly and hotel location was conveniently located.
The maintenance man was also great. My remote to my TV and one of the bulbs were out in my room and he was very accommodating and helpful.

Rooms: Everything was clean and nice. The only thing one of the door frame to one of the bedrooms was cracked so it gave problems to keep it closed at night.
Safety: Extremeley safe you need your room key to enter or a staff to let u into tue hotel
Food and drinks: Breakfast was good nice variety except no bread.

Beautiful room with complimentary breakfast. The only negative was that there was no parking and I had to park across the street due to then doing construction

Stayed there 1 night, with my pet dog in a well designed studio style room, fridge, small dishwasher, 2 burner range, large shower stall 2 people can easily fit in the stall. It's design is for long stays and there is a desk and office chair

Great stay except the person at Bar name Tailor he is the most unpleasant and discus-tin human in earth.He made my night awful with his attitude.He should not work at the bar or in any customer service area???????? Shame on Manager answering Tailor was on vacation and out does days.When I personally ask front desk what was the discu-tin human bein's name was.And she told me the name of that piece of Shi@&$)Someone from Hotel is trying to cover up for no valid reason.Unbealivable

Room was great. Clean, and AC worked well. Free breakfast was a plus. Super easy location with access to all the major things quickly.

Excellent! Impeccable! This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in with my boyfriend here in Florida. Everything is very new, very clean and organized. The room is very beautiful, comfortable and modern. Everything clean, fragrant and pleasant! And it has excellent reception service, which won a lot of points with me. There's even an attendant who speaks Portuguese! I loved it and will go back there whenever I need to stay in a hotel. I super compensate! Oh, and the price of accommodation is very good! Congratulations to the administrators and employees involved in the smooth running of the site! Keep doing the good work because here in Florida there is a lack of good, affordable hotels.
Rooms: Mine was a brand new, modern and very clean Studio.
Safety: Excellent

My kids are doing fast testing at this hotel location and the staff is completely rude and non accommodating to the parents.they want you to either sit outside for 2 hours in the 90 degree heat or leave and waste gas when it was already a long drive to get there.they wouldn't let you sit anywhere in the lobby and it was empty.if I ever do need a hotel I definitely wouldn't come here.the staff is just rude and snooty.

Room was decent at first glance. Upon settling in I kept finding these little bugs on the counter top. On the second night of my stay, my toilet clog and would not flush around 10pm. I called the front desk and ask if someone could come fix the plumbing issue and was told maintenance had left for the night. I asked the front desk agent if there was a plunger on the premises, she advised she would check and call back. The lady at the front desk called back and advised that there was no plunger on the premises and there was nothing she could do to help me. She said there wasn’t another room available for me to be moved to and said that I would have to wait until 7 am when the maintenance man arrived to fix my toilet. This means I would need to stay over night with bathroom. I decided to sleep on a family members couch at there hotel in Miami. I called the Hotel at 4 am to confirm that the maintenance person would be in at 7 am as I didn’t want to drive from Miami and still not have a usable toilet in my room. She assured me that the maintenance person would be in and also the manager Mitchel. I asked to please have the manager, Mitchel call me when the maintenance person arrived. She confirmed my phone number and assured me she would. I arrived around 6:30 am to no one at the front desk. I called the front desk from my room around 7 am and Rose the front desk agent on duty for the day advised me that the maintenance person in fact does not come in until 8:30 for his 9 am shift and the manager Mitchel would not be in until the night shift. Rose made sure that the maintenance man fixed my toilet as soon as he arrived. I appreciate her compassion and swift problem solving. As for the overnight front desk lady, she clearly is not a good representation of the Marriott brand and as result of the plumbing issue, the lack of resources to resolve simple issues for customers, her lack of transparency, and the fact the I was unable to stay in my room overnight for no fault of my own and was not offered any reimbursement I will never stay at this location or any location of residence inn

Booked this hotel on business and I will be returning. Fantastic service and I was upgraded and had a really beautiful room. Great hotel stay! Rooms are spacious, clean and have that 'wow' factor.

It’s so rare these days to have such an incredible customer service experience and also an amazing hotel experience. The gentleman who checked me in helped me with directions over the phone. When I finally arrived, he was so kind and pleasant. I’d been in the car for several hours and my gps took me to an apartment complex nearby, I was frustrated and in town for business.
He politely thanked me for being an elite member, I laughed because I was downgraded this year in status. Well, he still upgraded my room and rolled out the red carpet. There was another gentleman who greeted me walking by and offered fresh cookies/popcorn. It’s the small things that make a huge difference!
When I got to my room, it was everything I love about Residence Inn with the bonus upgraded room. It just made me feel special and important, a small gesture but one that made a big difference. He even phoned the room to make sure everything was perfect.
I frequent the Ft. Lauderdale area often for work and I will ABSOLUTELY return to this hotel! I only took one pic of the door but I wish I’d taken more. The room was amazing.

Great hotel! The room was beautiful and very clean. The employees were all very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Rooms: Room was very clean and, for a Basic room, felt like it was a 5 Diamond Upgrade! Would definitely stay here again.
