“I’ve always wanted to go here and support this mom and pop hardware store. Today I was given a reason. No one at the big box store down the street would help me and I decided to give one more place a shot. Just went to look for a rain barrel spout (bulk head spout) and at first didn’t find it where I was directed to but then a really nice sales guy started helping me piece something together and ultimately found me exactly what I was looking for! I couldn’t believe it! I was ready to leave and feel defeated and shop online but the gentleman took time to listen and help me! That’s amazing for this day in age. “Service used to be perfect! Everyone was always willing to help out, but apparently the staff has changed. Gloria always put a smile on your face, she retired. Sean Is very helpful and kind, the rest of the staff seems bothered to do their job. Very disheartening as I used to love coming to Ace. I am changing my review as I had to bring back 4 fluorescent lights with no receipt. The cashier almost said no. Her team prepared comprehensive installation binders and was always available to our plumbers and electricians as we did the rough and the final. We had a bunch of swaps and changes along the way, and Deborah was quick to send the new part and swap the old one. She was patient and thoughtful during the design phase, showed great attention to detail as we started to make decisions, and was a true partner during construction and installation. “Hidden gem. Real honest people here who give fair prices and don't blind-side the customer. I dropped off a chainsaw at closing, and the next day they called me at 8-something in the morning to give me a price and asked if I wanted to fix it. I said yes and they told me it would be ready in an hour. There must be hundreds of pieces of equipment in there so I have no idea how they're so efficient. They provided a detailed invoice which the last 2 companies I dealt with did not provide at all, even after asking both of them 4 times for one. The chainsaw is running perfectly, and after inspecting, I saw that they used high quality and name brand parts. The labor and parts costs were extremely reasonable and not overcharged.”
