Got a car from here in January the air-conditioning didn’t work, but they said they would fix it. They did fix it but all they did was put liquid and to make the air blow cold and then the next month the air conditioning stopped working again and they realize that there is a leak which should’ve been fixed from the beginning got my car back not even a week later the overheating light on my car turned on, went and checked, and they did not refill the antifreeze my engine could of busted!!!!

Huge bait and switch. They lied and they wasted my time and cost me money. I drove in there the night before last and was given a cash offer and told that I needed to change my perfectly clean and perfectly valid Missouri Title to a Florida title. I was told clearly by the associate that was the only thing that I needed to do to sell the car. 24 hours later and two trips to the DMV later I paid for and had a clean Florida title instead of a clean Missouri title. Before driving back there for 45 minutes each way I thought I'd better call and make sure I really did have everything I needed and sure enough I was told there was yet another hoop to go through which was to acquire from the DMV that I just left twice in the past 24 hours and new registration. Indeed I was not allowed to use the clean title that I had just bought to prove that I really owned the car I was required to prove that I had the right to drive it in Florida which I never had nor never wanted because I received it in Probate after the death of my sister. So just to sell the car I need to get Florida insurance and a temporary registration and go back at least once more to the DMV to get all that done. But my guess is that there will be yet another hoop put up by CarMax because they appear to be either ignorant or scammy or both. How many days and or weeks will it be and additional hurdles that I have to clear before they're happy that everything is in order for them to buy my car for $4,000 less than the Kelley Blue Book value? Why did they waste my time the first time having me drive up and telling me all I needed was a clean title only to find out that I need a clean floor to title not a clean Missouri title? And then once I have the clean floor to title why do I suddenly have to have a temporary registration? And if all of that really is true why don't they have somebody competent enough to tell me that to begin with to save me the time of driving there and to the DMV twice and paying the money for a Florida title in my Missouri Title was perfectly fine? Don't believe anything you hear from these guys. Again, they're either stupid or scammy.

Talk about the best customer service I have ever had with a dealership.My situation is an extremely long story however the best way to shorten it.Had a lemon that was unsafe and needed to sell it. Was made a great offer for it. And found a car within budget. Unfortunately the lemon we owned the title was missing. Manager got all the legal paper together and got us the title (FROM A DIFFERENT STATE) and got us in that new vehicle same day.We almost left devastated but left with an amazing reliable and safe vehicle.Our sales person genesis helped us th ough every little bit of it. This staff is just wonderful! They care about you as a human, and what will fit you and not all about the sale!Love this CarMax!

It was quick and easy. I received an estimate for my vehicle via the internet, went down to CarMax, and they gave me exactly the amount they had estimated the value of my vehicle to be worth. I feel CarMax paid me the true value of my vehicle, which a car dealership never had done.

Went to CarMax in Clermont FL snd handled very professionally by the CarMax rep. She was kind, knowledgeable and handled the transaction confidently and quickly.

No bad experience is here, nothing really that stands out though either. The few times I came to check out a car that I saw from the road, the staff was either too busy to answer any questions or there was like 100 staff and you felt like you're on stage when you walk in. Most cars do have a price on the window so I use that, so far I haven't seen a great value for what I'm looking for so I have not bought yet. I will most likely return when I see something that catches my eye again in any case.

We sold a car and the offer was competitive. We had an appointment and it started on time. Lyle was excellent. He was knowledgeable, personable and kept us updated every step of the way. One of the most painless processes I’ve experienced from any business, let alone a car sales business. Very impressed.

Great place to sell your car. Higher than all of other dealers. The staff were very friendly. Henry was great during the appraisal process. Dropped the truck off the next day and the manager Jorge went out of his way to fit me in last min.

Easy to enter my car information online. Received a fair quote. When I took my car to complete the trade everyone was very nice.Terrence explained every step very thoroughly and the transaction was handled in a minimum of time.I will be a return customer if I want to buy a used car.

We came to sell a car and had difficulties due to some DMV discrepancies. Olivia walked us carefully through the process and recommended ways to resolve the issues so we could successfully sell the car. Got an offer on-line easily, then got a convenient appointment at the Clermont location. Agent Cole was friendly and professional, explaining each step along the way. Walked out with a bank draft for the full amount. Very pleased and recommend Carmax!
