Amazing company. This seawall was a challenge due to the location and required lots of extra work with an engineering firm, drawings, permitting and an old pool in the background.
Guys did top notch work and you would not even know they were there once job was complete - except having an incredible looking seawall.
I highly recommend this company for all your seawall needs.

Needing a new seawall, I wasn't sure where to begin to start the process. I looked online and saw positive reviews from three different companies so I called to get bids. All three were responsive, but Jacob with Gulf Coast Marine Construction advised and recommended what I should do in a helpful, not pushy manner. He advised to raise it up 18" and use a 3' cap while his competitors were either 18" or 24".
My neighbor was also in need of a seawall so we were able to coordinate together where Jacob was able to do my 95' and my neighbors 75' at the same time so he had less mobilization and could knock them out as one project.
I could not be happier with the finished product and it was a pleasure working with Jacob and his crews. There is a reason that he has 57 positive reviews and I wouldn't hesitate in the least bit to recommend Jacob to anyone that is looking to get a new seawall or repair.
A+++ person with a A+++ company!!!

Jake was the best. Went with him because he did 4 other seawalls on my channel. From start to finish, it was a good experience. Jake answered all my stupid questions, was patient, kind and professional. His crew was respectful of my property. I let them use my pool bathroom. I went to clean it after they left to discover they had already cleaned, even bleached the bathroom. Highly recommend!

Jacob was fantastic from start to finish. His recommendations for height of the seawall and width of the cap were so appreciated. He communicated along the way and even coordinated with the company doing my dock so that the dock started just after the seawall was finished. The crew cleaned up when they left. Love the new seawall and how the increased height leveled my yard.

Gulf Coast Marine is by far the best Seawall builder in St. Petersburg. From to start to finish, everything Jake (Owner) promised us in his proposal was done to complete satisfaction on our end. Will definitely recommend GCM to anyone needing a new Seawall in St. Pete and surrounding areas.

Jacob and crew did a tremendous job with a tough build requiring many regulatory approvals. The wall is great! Even further, the cleanup and yard leveling was excellent. I would highly recommend the folks at Gulf Coast Marine Construction.

This company is just amazing. The owner is a very fine nice and extremely competent. He really cares and is very responsive.
His team is astonishing, nice people, very interested and listening to ones requests, one never got a bad vibe back for any request or question and followed 100% what one asked.
They for sure went the extra mile to make me happy, team and the owner.
My friend did their seawall 164 feet long 2 years ago and he was extremely happy with them and my neighbor used them also a 160 feet wall and he is picky and was happy.
So my neighbor (124 feet) and I (84 feet) used this company to do our seawall. The price was good and they knocked out the seawall 208 feet in five weeks, yes 5 weeks. The team is so well organized and they work clean and orderly. Keep in mind there are many steps and to get the wall done and they did it so well and fast.
If you need a seawall company, use this one.

I am a General Contractor that builds custom homes. As one of our last builds its my house we are building this time. I contacted Jacob after watching his crew replace my neighbors seawall and was highly impressed. Jacob, came out and gave a fair estimate and we signed right away. He did exactly what he said he was going to do, when he was going to do it, and threw in some helpful advice. As far as his crew, I cant say enough about the work ethic, attention to detail, and going above and beyond, to have a perfect finished product. This was no easy seawall as it is 105' curved with rip rap lining the whole way. The crew moved all the rip rap out a few feet, installed the new seawall, and meticulously pushed it back up against the new seawall. Again, as a General Contractor who looks at all the details for a living, I can recommend Jacob and his crew at Gulf Coast Marine without any hesitation. If I could give more stars I would.

Did not pack the replacement dirt around the new seawall, so it sank several feet when the rainy season started. Talked to Jacob twice; said he would fix it. Never did. Doesn't respond. FYIJUST SPOKE WITH JACOB. THERE WAS A MISCOMMUNICATION BETWEEN US. HE RESPONDED POSITIVELY AND HAS ALREADY PLANNED TO FIX IT.
