I own a video production company. That means tight deadlines. I called these guys up and brought them a VERY expensive computer with major issues. These guys fixed our computer by the next day. He saved me time, which saved my rear end with my clients. Go here. Not the week squad at best buy.

My 5 yr. - old computer crashed. I called around 11 am on Thursday. When I phoned, he said he be out of the office that afternoon til 4 pm so I took the computer right over. He called me Friday by 9:30 am and stated he was able to back up my data, but that the computer was not worth repairing. He gave me a few options of used computers in stock. I stopped in his shop that afternoon and picked a used Dell laptop after reviewing my options at Best Buy, and FB marketplace. On Saturday I picked up the new-to-me Dell, which was loaded with all my programs, email, a free 30-day subscription to a security program, and bookmarks recovered. Great, quick service, hours daily + Sat 'til 3, and used laptop that was reasonably priced for the features. Great small business.

Steven at Discount Computer Repair was able to retrieve data from two laptops that had gone bad. Was glad to have back family pics I thought were permanently gone. Highly recommend!

I found Discount Computer Repair after I had been ripped off by another computer repair company who charged an outrageous amount and couldn't complete the job.Both Cassandra and Steven were very knowledgeable and good communicators who could explain the workings and issues of my computer that I was able to understand. They provided excellent service which resulted in an excellent product, actually above and beyond what I expected.

Great place to get your computer or laptop fixed.My 17” HP laptop hinge broke. I took it to the big box store that I bought it from and they basically said “nothing can be done, you had BEST BUY a new laptop”. So I quick googled “computer repair near me” and Voila: Took it in. The owner says “no problem, very common issue with this brand”and easy fix for $100”. Done in 24 hours. Amazing.

Thanks to the recommendations of all my prior google reviewers, I took my crashed CPU to DCR to take a look. An hour after I dropped it off, I received a call from Steve advising that he could recover almost all of my data, install a new hard drive, and get my computer back to me in 2 days! Wow! What a relief. He delivered as promised, and his wife assured me that I could call them if I had any problems or questions about the new system. It is always a pleasure to deal with an honest, professional and local business, and I highly recommend Discount Computer Repair to others in the Clearwater area. The prices for the work were also reasonable, but recovering the data--priceless!!
