I've used Deer Hunter Guns as my exclusive FFL to receive my purchases for a few years now. Friendly. Honest. Stop in to look around. Grab a box of ammo and have a donut. Buy a used rifle. Chat with the old timers who frequent the place. It's a great shop.

My family and I are from West Virginia. Deer Hunter Guns is not your typical gun shop. The guys gave a warm welcome & had lots of gun knowledge. Friendly atmosphere! Next time we visit the area we will definitely visit this place again.

I've known Chuck and his father Dan a very long time. I grew up with Dan and my father Leo Paynter "Star" doing deals together back in the 80s.
This shop hasn't changed. It's still a very friendly atmosphere and has stuff other shops don't. This isn't just ar15 Rambo stuff. He has a mix of everything.
Thanks for holding onto the shop Chuck and family.

Owner and crew are great people. Very welcoming non pressure place. Plenty of great condition pieces with very fair pricing. Honestly and transparency is held in high regard @ this shop. A great place for first time buyers to get good start, also a great place for collectors to find bucket list iron. This is true Florida.

Chuck is a great person and very knowledgeable about gun and David is knowledgeable about ammo and history on older militry guns and ammo. I've been going there for years and keep going back because they are great people at great prices and it's not a big box store and they go out of their way to help you andfind what you need. Thank you Gents I'll be back soon.

Must have been chuck and Dave working today… I would not recommend this shop to anybody these old guys aren’t very friendly or welcoming. Shop is basically a hallway with piles of junk laying all over the countertops. Good luck finding what you need in here because they don’t even know what they have. Black guns are scary to the owner apparently because he said he would freak out if you send something he doesn’t know of or about to his shop on a transfer. I’ll take my greenbacks elsewhere and spend them with a company who earns my business.
