I called to see if they could recertify a couple of tanks. My call was answered by a call center in India, and I was told that if I were not an existing customer, they could not help me. The website says they provided recertification service but no walk ins so I would like to know how you get anything done with these guys. What a joke

Worst customer service on the planet. After trying to get propane delivered since February I was told yesterday that they no longer service my area with the size tank I have and need to upgrade to a bigger tank which ends up being the same amount of gas as my two smaller tanks for the low low price of $300 and that doesn't include the fill up. Shameful they are robber barons. Stay away from this company. I wish they had a zero star.

All calls go to the Philippines.
Been calling for weeks. They charged us for propane that they did not deliver.
Horrible place to deal with. Well if you can even get a person from the United States to talk to.

They need a negative star for this place ordered my gas over 10 days ago told it was be delivered by the 8th today is now the 9th now mind you they took my money that very day I still don't have my propane called the complain and was told it'll be here tomorrow so yeah that's another day another thing of my propane being low and I'm going to have to pay for the pressure test y'all can take your company and stuff it right up where the sun don't shine. And I hope you all don't need propane to do it because you ain't getting it delivered today. I am going to put a call into Better Business Bureau I think what you're doing is entrapment of getting extra fees and it's not okay

I have been a customer for years. We are on automatic delivery. They let us go past four months. Ran out of gas on a Friday evening. Called Saturday am promised delivery but didn’t come!! Said well you have 5% ?♀️?why would they think it would be okay to go that low????? It was not 5% it was empty. Cold showers going to work all weekend. Horrible customer service!!!! This is the second time over the years they did this. Looking for a new gas company!!!

This company is HORRIBLE !! You cannot get answers not even what the hours are for propane delivery. I have waited and been inconvenienced 1 week now, and still cannot get answers as to why NO SHOW YET !!! Whoever is running this company sure needs to EXIT IMMEDIATELY....This is not the way to treat customers.

Can't get an American. Scam budget contracts. They don't charge tank rental fees util you get ready to leave or lower your account balance, then you get back charged a hefty fee in the Thousands of dollars! They don't tell you this! They will not refund any high balance without canceling your budget account. Then all fees come due!

If the reviews don’t speak volumes! This company is the ABSOLUTE worst! We canceled service over two years ago and still get calls and bills in the mail… Yes, we sent a written notice of cancellation. Beyond this service was terrible and way overpriced. Stay clear!

Change to electric instead! When I bought my property there was a propane tank left there for the hot water and stove that we used for a bit (and paid for) but we eventually changed everything to electric causing us not to need gas anymore. This was because in the coldest winter ever we couldn’t get a propane delivery for several weeks. We sold the house and left the tank that was left to us and Amerigas is now charging me for picking up the tank and sent me to collections. I’ve spoken to them several times and they keep confirming it’s a mistake but everytime I turn around there’s another collections call for the same thing. AMERIGAS: get your stuff together! These low ratings say a lot about your customer service.

No stars! At 15% made an order on Sunday. Called Wednesday, within 24 hours. Friday, called again. Driver said gate was locked. He NEVER checked to see if he might be in the wrong place. There service is terrible. I had to give it a star in order to post. NO STARS

Among the worst vendors I have ever dealt with. I would recommending converting to electric rather then rely on Amerigas to treat its customers correctly.How they treated my mom is a good example. They switched to manual gas refills and did not tell her after 30 years of automated delivery. Her gas runs out and they show up days later to tell her the tank is out and she should have ordered a refill. Mom had no idea and is in no position to read the tank gauge anyway. They then take 2 weeks to refill the tank. My mom was very fragile and going without hot water made her very sick. Amerigas just did not care.I am selling the house and I called to get the tank refilled. Even with the tank refilled no gas to the the house. I request a technician and he texts me that the tank was locked for the refill and he unlocked it so now gas is getting to the house no problem. Amerigas charges me 300 for the visit to fix what they failed to do with the tank was refilled. I call customer service and they tell me tough luck. Asked for a supervisor and told the same thing.Would not do business with this company
