I know there have been many bad reviews of this Budget but my experience here was great. Beverly helped us at the beginning and on return and was quick and friendly both days. We had a nice Subaru Crosstrek and when I needed to add an extra week, they gave me the same rate even though I noticed it had gone way up online. I had no problems and would use them again.

These people are liars and scammers and what they have on their website. You get their and boom they won't work with you even though they've already taken your money. Nothing of what is on their website is factual. They lie to get you in the door hoping that you will just rent their vehicles anyway because you are stuck, and it's either that or wasting money ubering all around town to try and figure out where you can rent a car that is honest and NOT a scam.

The customer service representatives we're very professional and expedited by car rental very quickly..I would recommend Budget to anyone renting a vehicle..

This place is a dump and so is this mall. I knew something was up when I got dropped off and there were no cars outside. We made a reservation weeks ago and they didn't have the SUV, or any SUV's. They don't stock cars here, they get delivered the night before and the day of. My reservation was for 8am and she told me cars would arrive at noon. After this terrible experience, I would highly recommend NOT renting from this location. It deserves to be closed down. I'm going back to Sixt where I rented last time and had a great experience and I should've reserved with them again.

Horrible, I was provided a vehicle that I heard a noise once driving and I stopped and looked and the vehicle was completely out of alignment which was the first safety issue and then because of this the tire was worn so much on one side it was through the first layer of rubber and could have blown out at any moment. On top of this they added extra charges at check in

I rented a car at Newark International Airport. It took 3 try's to finally get a car and even then they upgraded me because they didn't have the car I reserved. After returning the car on 5/13 I received emails informing me I hadn't returned the car and were charging me $1543 instead of the $409 I had signed for. They were even charging me for a Lincoln Nautilus instead of the Acura TLX I was given. I spent hours on the phone with different agents trying to resolve their error. I even sent them pictures of the car with unit number and tag all to no avail.Finally after 3 weeks the case was closed but they did not admit an error. They still listed the wrong car on the receipt. There was no need for this poor handling of a situation where Avis cannot keep an accurate account of their cars. I never experienced such poor service and runaround from a rental car company. I will no longer be using Avis in the future. They say they are #2 s they try harder but as far as I'm concerned they don't even crack the top 10. POOR service!!

Terrible service, rented a car 2 weeks prior to pick up date, got emails and text confirmations, card was charged. Arrive at the store and no cars, not for a few hours, they "think". Told me to call customer service, they can't do anything, total waste of time. Use ANY other company but Budget. They are called budget for a reason.

It’s worse than one star. The representative did not care about the customer. He was rude, nasty and seemed mad at the world. Budget should send him to a psychiatric exam. He was loud and abusive. Don’t bother renting at this location.

Unfortunately, zero stars is not an option. I went to pick up the pre-paid vehicle that I had reserved and was told I could not leave with the car because the information in the budget profile did not match mine. It was my daughters license and date of birth on file, but the profile was still under my name. I called my daughter to see if she could assist and she came over from work to help. Upon arrival, my daughter asked the representative what we could to do resolve the issue. She told us to call customer service and change the information on the budget profile, so that was what we did. We changed the license date of birth on file to match the name of the person who will be driving the vehicle. I even received a confirmation email of this.When we arrived back to the counter, she said she still could not rent it to us because she sees no changes on her end. She began to raise her voice and she said refuses to put down her number on something that would get her in trouble. I still had the customer service agent on the phone because I wanted to confirm everything went well before hanging up. The woman in the store asked for my cellphone to speak to the man on the phone and then began yelling at him as well and questioning his morals. I continued to ask the woman for a solution to this and she continued to say she could not rent this vehicle to me. She said we would need to cancel the reservation which was already prepaid and we would have to start all over again with no guarantee of a refund, but that she could not help me with this. Only customer service could. I showed her my confirmation email of the changes and she told me that anyone could have written that email and sent it to me, which I think is strange considering it comes directly from Budget with the logo and email address. She preceded to raise her voice and instead of offering additional solutions for support, she moved to another register and assisted the customer behind us. She told us to go to another rental location where they could do what we are asking them to do. It’s a small location and she was the only one working there at that time, so at that point, we had no other option but to walk out.My daughter immediately burst into tears because this rental car was being used to travel to Orlando that weekend for her wedding and we were walking out of that location without a vehicle. The kind man from customer service was still on hold this entire time. He told us he could get us a vehicle at another location 30 minutes away from where we were. Although this was not convenient at all, we went with his offer because at this point we were at a loss of hope. When we arrived to the WPB airport location, there were zero issues and we were able to get the car, so I don’t understand what the issue was and why that woman felt the need to be so rude and abrasive.The unprofessionalism of the woman at the Boynton Beach Budget location needs to be addressed. No one that works with people should ever raise their voice at the customer. And then to leave us there as she goes to another register to assist someone else is beyond offensive. We are regular Budget customers and have been loyal FastBreak members for years. After the experience with this woman (Vanessa or Jennifer, I believe) we are very hesitant and are unlikely to rent from Budget ever again. Proper actions need to be taken against her. I’m sure this is not the first time she has become aggressive with customers. There is a camera at that location for a record of her inappropriate behavior. Hopefully it’s a functioning camera that recorded her unprofessional and aggressive behavior.

Rented today.Employed was doing an awesome job, but it was clear she was way,WAY W A Y short staffed.I didn't she her stop moving for an entire hour.She is an employed you should take care not to lose!!

Horrible customer service as their staff is unfriendly, rude and no compassion or understanding for other human beins. "Arthur" as he referred to himself is A very cruel and rude person and I honestly dont understand why he is employed at all in the customer service field.

The 800 Customer Service, is the worse with information, when comparing to dealing with employees in the Budget office. So many wrong, and not enough information, that I couldn't get the car that I rented 2 months in advance. I left their company, getting refunded and went to Enterprise, no hassle in renting a car for a family member.

If I could I would do zero starts! This place had the worse customer service I have ever seen! We called and asked If we can reserve a car with a debit card and they told us we could after explaining to them that we didn't fly! They charged us and when we got there they said it has to be a credit card! Asked the lady how do we get a refund and she said "call 800 number". As we were waiting another customer was having problem with them. Would not recommend going there! The lady's were lazy as f*** and didn't want to do their jobs. Also couldn't find the location easy!
