I am a retired employee of Walgreens for 40 years. I worked in the Chicago area for most of those years.I was appalled (but not surprised) that the pharmacy at this location was closed. No online notice was issued. Again not a surprise. The system has a glitch. Yay us for getting the online notifications that our prescriptions are ready and then when we go to pick them, up find out the pharmacy is closed. There has always been a communication issue with the automated system and real time. I suggest you get that fixed and soon.We are in a post hurricane zone in Fort Myers Beach. We have to travel a ways to get the prescriptions. This is not the first incident we’ve had with Walgreens in an emergency situation.Get it together please because I’m embarrassed to say I worked for this company now

This location has lost 3 of my pick up orders. My husband and I ordered some stuff on both of our accounts. We received an email on Friday that the orders arrived. We went on the next day Saturday to pick them up. They informed us they did not have our orders and that we may pick up too late so they cancel our orders. Alright... I called and talked to customer service. They said my orders were not canceled and they can either refund or reorder if I'd like. So what the manager said about my orders being canceled due to picking up a day later from receiving the pick up email, was wrong. I decided to give them a chance and reordered, only on my account. The CS said the store probably messed up the orders and put on the shelf and she informed me that unfortunately happened a lot since they received lots of calls about it.Took a week to get to the store, then I received an email to pick it up. We came to pick it up 3hrs later after receiving the email. They told us they did not have my order... The manager on duty did not seem want to help me or figure out solutions. I asked him if they mixed up the order, as CS stated on the phone, he denied. His claim does not make sense since if first time get lost I can understand, but second time!? The store needs to figure out why or contact the upper management to resolve the issues. He even assumed my app has the problem and that I needed to update the app, which was wrong. The first time I ordered mine on app but with my husband order, it was on the computer.... And the second time it was customer service ordered it. I always love this store because of good location and friendly staff. However the interaction with the manager made me rethink otherwise.

I just stood in line of about 10 people. And another cashier came to assist on another register. After she helped the man next in lineShe let to Hispanic girls come all the way from the back of the line and skip us all. I told her that the man 5 or 6 people in front of me was next she laughter at me. So I put my things on the counter and skipped a few in line. I asked her why she replied with a go to he'll look. Her nameLivia. What a roud lady.

On line and even on the actual door, the pharmacy hours are posted as "Open till 9 p m." Went at 830 and they said that it was "slow" tonight so they closed at 7. Seriously? This is a business?

This is absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with! Unfortunately I have to use Walgreens for my insurance. The older male pharmacist is the worst / rude and unhelpful. Most of the staff is unprofessional and rude. I went today to pick up many prescriptions. I am 4 months post heart transplant. My meds are keeping my heart from rejecting. Went today at 2:00 to find a sign on the pharmacy that they were closed. Supposed to be open till 5! Unbelievable! I tried to call the other night and was on hold from 8 - 9 telling me one caller ahead of me. After an hour of waiting I was disconnected. This happens often and they are obviously taking the phone of the hook. There is always a line and everyone in it complains about the place. It is a joke. Stay far away if you have the option!

Terrible service! I waited 2 hours in the drive thru for a covid test because the girl kept telling me there were other cars behind me. I had an appointment. Then she asked a Spanish speaker to come talk to me--I'm not Hispanic! I don't speak Spanish. I am horrified at the service. When I told her I needed a name to send a complaint she ran. I'll place the blonde's pic here as she ran away.

I was so pleased to look at these comments and realize I was not the only one having these issues at this pharmacy I am so beyond done with this pharmacy I don't ever write reviews, they have double prescribe me multiple times, it takes up to seven days or more just for me to get a prescription they lie and make excuses for prescriptions not being ready they are the most incompetent pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Every time and I mean every time they mess something up or can't fill Prescriptions that me and my family need immediately for sicknesses weather they be antibiotics or steroids. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Despite the low customer ratings for this Walgreens, I chose it as my pharmacy anyway two years ago, due to close proximity. Since then, I have experienced only helpful and professional service, despite the extra burdens on pharmacy staff due to the pandemic and staffing issues. I applaud the people who keep showing up day after to do their jobs, and likely one or two other jobs, as well. My wait times in the pickup lane have never been more than 10 minutes. Staff in the store have been pleasant and helpful. Last week, one pharmacist was filling prescriptions, waiting on customers and giving vaccines. Yet he kindly told those waiting, “It might be a few minutes before I can help you.” I prefer to cut these people a little slack. They are working hard, they’re stressed, they’re likely overworked. Let’s all try to be a little kinder. It’s a tough world out there.

Urgent!!!! First off I want to start off with by stating this Walgreens location doesn't seem to be a bit concerned about the well being of their customers needing their prescriptions in a timely manner and won't answer their phone so they transfer you to a call center where I assume they are going to help you but only give you the run around. You can't get through to an actual Pharmacist because they don't answer the phone and it keeps ringing saying same recording " One Call ahead of you " . I've never experienced this poor service and would highly recommend you go elsewhere or you will be without your medications !!

Disrespectful, unprepared and completely unqualified to run a pharmacy correctly. I am a physician, yes a doctor, and I was left on hold for 27 minutes. When I asked the staff member if he would leave a customer standing in front of him for 27 minutes he said, "well no, they are in front of me." I simply asked, "So, the customer waiting in line is more important to you than the customer waiting on the phone? This left the associate speechless, and rightfully so. Each time I have had to refill prescriptions over the past three months they have screwed up at least one refill. They are fond of refilling prescriptions as only partial refills to try and get things synced up. My advice, never attempt this because it is simply a recipe for disaster. You will never get your prescriptions right. This pharmacy can't even get things right during off season times let alone season. P.S. I have a 1 in 25,000,000 genetic heart condition and one of my major prescriptions to keep my heart functioning and out of A-Fib is one the prescription that keeps getting screwed up. I'm headed to the COSTCO Pharmacy. Enough of this disrespect. If they were not a corporate monster they would be out of business.

Called in reference to my prescription at 3 in the afternoon. Spent half hour on hold. Finally I’d run out of patience so decided to take a ride over. I found that the shutters were drawn with a sign saying the park pharmacy had closed at 2 with no reason given. I asked to speak to the manager who said he had no idea why the pharmacy was closed. Employees were still routing calls to the pharmacy without even realizing it wasn’t open. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a pharmacy. Besides this terrible instance I have spent multiple times on hold for upwards of 15 minutes and frequently their estimated time for pickup is underestimated.

I do understand staff shortages and delays. Last week I gave up waiting on line for a seriously needed prescription for my Crohn's flare as I am all out. Last night I called to be sure it was even there since it was a transfer. First tech said he would check, put me on hold and I wound up back in the queue. Finally after being in hold 20 minutes - someone I suspect was the pharmacist answered and immediately yelled "we're getting Covid 19 injections ready right now" and hung up on me. I DREAD any time I deal with them- called CVS (almost closing time) spoke with the nicest tech who would have put the meds together for me right then and there and he was relieved when I said I'll pick it up today. So polite. World of difference.

The pharmacy at this location is atrocious but the store itself is fine. The pharmacy is ALWAYS under staffed. They will service patients who are in person but will not take calls. Because of their lack of staffing the pharmacist either fills scripts or gives shots but never both so someone is ALWAYS waiting for hours for what they need. I've been told numerous times that there's a problem with my insurance so they couldn't fill my prescriptions only to find out again and again from my insurance company that there actually was no issue. Once confronted, Walgreens then fills the scripts.Once I was using Goodrx and they tried to charge me $400 for a $13 script. They just couldn't figure out the Goodrx and I had to transfer that script to Publix who had no issues at all.The store manager, Laura, is rude and short with customers who are frustrated with the terrible service they're receiving.I give one star for the store itself and zero stars for the pharmacy. ANY OTHER PHARMACY is a better choice than this one. I'm transferring to Publix.

Incompetent pharmacy employees! This place is ridiculously unprofessional in every way!
