They did a fabulous job cleaning and restoring a large painting for me. They also give good advice on framing and shipping. They can share interesting facts about the history of your art piece as the layers of abuse are cleaned away. I also think that they are able to authenticate art, if that's something you need. Quality work and knowledgeable conservators. Would not hesitate to bring another piece here should the need arise.

I retained George and his staff to preserve and enhance my late mother's scrapbook from the war years 1941-46. During that project they created a book for me by enhancing and improving pictures and paper documents that had faded, become in many regards in very poor condition. The culmination of the project provided me with not only a preservation of the original scrapbook, but also a printed book copies of which I have given to my relatives, as well as the National WWII Museum in New Orleans. George and his assistant also provided colorized copies of portraits taken during the war. When you think of the quality of pictures taken some 80 years ago could look as if they were taken yesterday is just amazing to me and family members. He also restored a piece of art adversely effected by the sun and age. Now looks like the day I bought it. I highly recommend George to anyone thinking of a conservation and duplication project.

Had a disasterous fire in my home that I thought destroyed all of our art work. The art was black from petroleum smoke. I was amazed at the magic they performed to restore our pieces. They were as good as when first purchased. I recommend them highly.

I was planning the gift of a Japanese screen to a well known art museum. The museum requested a report on the physical status of the screen (which was several hundred years old) to assure that it would not present conservation issues. The conservator came on time and made a thorough and professional evaluation of the screen's condition. The report provided a very detailed analysis of the screen indicating where repairs had been made, the quality of the repairs and the likelihood that the screen could be displayed safely. The museum recommended ConservArt because of its national reputation and accepted the gift based on the evaluation.

George and his staff are an amazing asset for the entire art community and we have him at our disposal in south Florida. I have been using Conservart for almost 20 years. The quality of the framing is second to none and the art restoration and conservation lab is nothing to sneeze at. Every piece on my walls at home has been either cleaned, framed, or restored by George and the staff at Conservart.George's knowledge and expertise is industry known as he speaks regularly at gatherings locally as well as nationally. If you are a serious art collector or just want something that means so much to you handled properly and will last a lifetime, call George. Then, you will see for yourself how valuable having a relationship with Conservart is to you and your collection.

Great advisors on how to repair and protect significant artworks. Also very reasonable and creative on how to display little artworks picked up during travel or family photos.
