This USPS is stuck in the 80's. I go to other USPS and they have the stamp and weighing machines. Here I have to be in line for 30 min to get stamp. They close for lunch too...This USPS needs to grow up. It's not a little town any more.

A little tough to find as this location is located in an older converted house and doesn’t have the same feel as a typical USPS. It is hard to find even off of 41 because the green directional sign off of 41 is covered with branches and green leaves. Once you turn on to Flamingo, look to your right and it’s next to a salon and a white picket fence. Hope this helps new people to the area ?

I dropped packages off at this post office from things I sold online. As this post office doesn't keep normal hours, they were not open even though it was 9:30am. They also had no automatic shipping scanner to verify weight and scan the item in. I should have realized right off the bat that this was a huge red flag. I have been selling online for over 20 years and I carefully measure and weight EVERYTHING I ship out. I shipped out a pair of pants in a polymailer that weighed 10 ounces, I always increase the weight a little on the label for margin of error. This office lied and said my package weighed 1.5lb! Then changed my package from ground to priority and proceeded to charge me double what I had paid for shipping! If you sell online, do NOT use this post office! They will take advantage of you!! I will never use this location again! Also the package drop slot is extremely unsecured, someone could easily reach in and steal packages out of it if they wanted to! It's like someone took and old house and turned it into a make shift post office!

So the lady in there is really nice, not her fault... however, Apollo Beach is getting quite big. This isn't a small town anymore. I've had many issues where it's either tons of people are waiting in line because there is only one person working or the hours are really bad. It's 10-4, but they close for lunch as well. So sometimes when I know I have to mail something I swing by there and miss either the hours they're open or the lunch hour. So they need to hire more staff here, better hours, Apollo Beach is growing and so should this Post Office.

I drop packages several days a week here and find Doreen to be a wonderful resource when needed. She has always treated me with respect and items are always scanned when using the drop box. It seems a lot of folks have got thin skinned over the past few years and empathy has vanished with it. Keep up the good work Doreen!

Avoid this post office. I have 3 missing mails since November and 1 of them to IRS, how can u screw that up. Its old outdated office. Whoever handles mail in back there is obviously and idiot. I have mail going to completely wrong locations. I Suggest going to 301 Riverview location or any location in Brandon theyre perfect with no issues. Apollo Beach is a great town however stay away from this Post Office your mail will get lost!

The woman who runs this franchise USPS office is nasty and could not care about your problem. Directs people to the SCC office

You get more bees with honey (or whatever that saying is!?!) I make it a point to be sweet to Doreen and she's always kind back to me. She even gave me some packing materials for free around Christmas because she was out of bubble wrap and someone had dropped off a bag of packing Styrofoam peanuts earlier that day. For Valentine's Day I baked some cookies for her and she was very appreciative.Smile at her and be glad there's a post office in our little town!!

Super convenient to have in Apollo Beach, 'lady behind the counter' is always friendly to me. As long as you aren't nasty to her, she has always been great to me.

If you can avoid bringing packages to this postal location DO IT..the owner/woman working behind the counter is extremely RUDE and just right out NASTY! If she is too mature, and I am being kind, then retire and stay away from people..we don’t need you representing the USPS!

The postal carriers need more training on how to read addresses correctly when delivering mail...or maybe they need glasses. Almost on a weekly basis I receive other people's mail in my mailbox and have had people bring me my mail that was delivered incorrectly.Today I was home all day waiting on a piece of certified mail just to receive an update advising it wasn't delivered because no one was home. I reviewed the footage from my outside cameras to find no one came on my property to deliver anything. Plus there wasn't a delivery attempt note left on my door or in my mailbox. Schedule a redelivery you say? No thanks. If they tried to deliver mail to the wrong address the first time then most likely they will try to deliver to the wrong address again. Ridiculous.

Package said it was delivered in parcel. I come home to find the parcel key is not on the mailbox. Great job USPS. You can’t read numbers or answer the phone to help with your issues.
