“coming up from middletown on a saturday just shows you how much i love trader joe’s but my experience today was 100x better when i came to check out and Jared was our cashier and he had such a positive attitude, he sparked conversation & i had a box that was a little banged up and he immediately asked if i wanted a new one and suggested that it was no problem to grab a new one. he also let me know about him trying some of the products that i was purchasing to let me know how good they were. if i could have Jared as my cashier everytime i went i would love trader joe’s even more than i already do. Big shout out to Jared thank you for your AMAZING service and made me and my friend experience a MILLION times better”

“We like to use organic and mostly vegan products in out house. We almost always find the products not carried in commercial grocery stores. Setting is laid back and staff are super friendly. The Cafe is great for snacks and coffee. Their deserts are awesome.”

“I ordered an 8 inch round cake from ACME for my partner's bday party last weekend. The cake decorator at ACME understood the assignment. She was so patient with me and took the time to understand what I was going for. And she delivered!The presentation was great and the cake tasted even better. Everyone at the party couldn't get enough of it.And the cupcakes were great too.I highly recommend going to ACME for decorative cakes while on budget!”

“I love this spot, especially in light of the Wilmington Farmers Market closing (This one is cleaner and better kept anyways). The food selection is incredible for any international food needs. The fruits and vegetables are also great. Prices are better than anywhere else. I have never bought meat products here, but there are plenty of options. The people that work here are plenty nice and accommodating. This is my preferred place to shop for groceries in the area.”

“Been shopping here for years. I spent $150 here today, and the young white woman cashier straight up refused to help me bag up my groceries. I even brought my own bags... it slowed down the line for the customer behind me. WhyyyyStill a great store. All other staff is great. Just a bad visit.”

“Had no issues with Zingos except that the handicapped parking was changed to maternity parking and the only handicapped parking is now 2 slots in front of the liquor store next door. Today was not the first time that a delivery truck has decided to use those spots as a loading zone (parking across both of them) Luckily this time they left after I circled the parking lot for less than 5 minutes. In the past I have had to go to another grocery store because of this.”

“This place has the highest quality produce in the region as far as I can tell. It also has a good selection of bulk dry goods, local foods, and the largest supplement variety I have found in Delaware. Their processed food selection is expensive, but their organic produce and bulk dry goods are significantly cheaper than at the regular grocery stores.”

“Good store. Just inflation way too much. Prices need to be lowered like now. For a tiny container of organic milk it's over $7 and for organic salad it's around $6. Cuz organic is all I will buy at this point. Trying my hardest to avoid bioengineered food with chemically altering harmful ingredients.”

“Love this store. Very clean and very nice staff. Recently had someone snatch my wallet as soon as it fell from my pocket and security couldn't be bothered cause she was in a meeting. That was disappointing behavior. But the rest of the staff working that day did try to help me look for my wallet. If security would have done their job immediately the guy would have been caught on sight. Newark Police ended up having to step in and thankfully found my wallet since the guy was clear camera, continued to shop for a bit, then use his number to check out. Maybe a meeting on putting real time crime happening as a first priority for security team! Still a beautiful store and highly recommended this place.”

“I normally don't shop at Safeway, due to location, but stopped in to pick up a few item to take to work. They had the clerical items I needed and I picked up lunch as well. Im kinda disappointed with the chicken from the ready to eat section as it was too dry for my liking. Other than that store is well stocked and very clean.”

“I wish the store in Elsmere was more like this location. I was in the area recently and needed to stop for a few things. The store and parking lot were very clean. The shelves were well stocked, unlike the Elsmere location. Every store seems to be laid out a little different, but everything was still easy to find and there was no wait at the self checkout.”

“Malin's is always a treat! We got a cheesesteak, an Italian sub, and a cheeseburger. The cheesesteak was amazing as usual. The sub was the best Italian sub I've had in a very long time - fresh ingredients, crispy lettuce, the right amount of seasonings! The cheeseburger left a little to be desired. It wasn't terrible, it just wasn't up to par with the rest of the food. The staff is always pleasant, whether on the phone or in the store. Overall, this is one of the best deli/sub shops arounds.Parking: Parking lot can be a tight squeeze to get in and out of. I'd suggest parking in the side lot. It's much easier to navigate.”
