Hi you all and any future customers please avoid this company they are fraudulent and should be shut down. If you take a look at the copious bad reviews you’ll see a history of customers whose claims were not taken care of and cancellations that were not honored. Also I am not a competitor of this company and am happy to have not lost my money to this scam. Avoid at all costs!

My experience talking to Jason deserves more than 5 stars. Jason was very resourceful, efficient, cooperative and very loyal to his answers to my questions. I would definitely recommend EAP (empire auto protection) to anyone who needs coverage. Hats off to Jason.

AVOID THIS OUTFIT!
First, when you have to have repairs done, the process is subject to multiple disconnections, misdirection, and convolutions. Trying to find a person able to explain, let alone help is a real telephone web that will take you hours.
Second, their plan does NOT make mention of a deductible except for $100 on the Sated Coverage page, nor of age/mileage based limitations to repairs. My $2,000 repair was to be covered only to $500 by them.
Third, their plan clearly says "We will reimburse up to $30.00 par day up to six days…from a licensed rental car agency." Now they tell me that the rental must be through my shop, and pre-approved.
The legalese and small print should have been a hint of trouble to come, and it did!
August 27, 2024. The company now says I only selected the basic coverage, when I clearly ordered and paid for the complete coverage.

unprofessional. rude. condescending. scammers.
signed up on 7/10 and was told that i had a 30 day window to cancel and get a full refund. cancelled on 8/5 (within the 30 days), only to be charged on 8/6 for my next payment. called them to have a quick phone call where i simply confirmed my phone number and had the employee (who did not tell me their name) just say “it’s cancelled” before i could ask any questions. today on 8/15, i called them because i was still waiting on a refund. i was told that there was no record of my cancelling and got transferred to another employee. this person told me my refund was on the way as got processed monday 8/12. when i asked why it didn’t get processed on 8/5 or 8/6, when my initial phone calls were, he told me i didn’t call either of those days and got very short and defensive when trying to tell me that i hadn’t cancelled until 8/12. tried to ask me if i had cancellation confirmation from 8/5 in a “gotcha!” tone and dropped it immediately when i said “no i don’t, because you all never sent it. it’s not my fault you didn’t do your job, but i do have several emails i’ve sent between now and then about this that you all never answered”
these people are scammers and will try to lie their way out of their own incompetence .
