“I highly recommend Dave of Bay Shore Antique Refinishing. I bought a very large "barristers bookcase" (not antique) at auction. It was very beat up. There was mold on the back and the inside was riddled with white gunk. Paul restored it, told me it did not require stripping & refinishing but just a good clean up and two coats of varnish. There are 20 glass panes on the bookcase and he took out each pane to work on it properly! He is honest, meticulous and does high quality work and did not charge an exorbitant amount! Plus he will deliver within a certain radius. I am so glad I found Bay Shore Antiques and Dave!”

The set is 20 years old and used daily in addition to undergoing two long distance moves and storage. Paul and Susie’s attention to detail from the materials used to the stain is second to none. The finished work makes the table look like it did when we purchased it from Ethan Allen.
