It's near the station. There are no transfers from the airport, and you can reach the hotel in about 30 minutes. There is a Starbucks and a restaurant inside the hotel. In the morning, Starbucks is so crowded that even the seats at the entrance are filled. You can also order meals in your room. The price wasn't that high either. In the room, there were drinks in plastic bottles for each person, as well as coffee and tea.Amenities included body cream, hand soap, provided shampoo, treatment, and body soap.As a service, cucumber water and lemon & lime water are available near the elevator. However, it didn't seem to be replenished and it seemed like it was running out by 5pm.You can keep your luggage in the closet before check-in and after check-out.Check-in time is 16:00, but you may be able to enter your room at 2:00 pm without any additional charge, and if you are before 2:00 pm, you may be able to enter your room with an additional charge. The front desk staff was also polite and pleasant.I think it's a convenient location to go to the White House and the National Mall.I would like to use it again the next time I go to Washington DC.

Nice hotel with a restaurant and Starbucks. Large workout room with high end equipment. Pool is small, but it’s got one. Location is decent, not much to do in regards to shopping or restaurants. Overall very nice hotel. My only complaint is the doors to the hotel room seem to be paper thin and you can hear every conversation and noise in the hallway.

We had a horrible stay at this hotel.1) we didn’t get the room we booked. We booked a double queen room, however, we only get a king room. And the front desk refused to change our room to the booked type for the whole stay.2) Shower water is very small, not much pressure in the shower. It makes shower very difficult.3) Don’t allow us use their baggage trolley. They have no valet parking available when we arrived, so we have to park at other parking garage (city center). We have to offload a lot of luggages, but they don’t allow us to use their baggage trolley.4) Overcharge us on WiFi fees. When we arrived, the front desk handed us a paper which states that WiFi is complimentary, however, we got charged by Wifi fees everyday.5) Front desk is very slow to respond to request. There is no bedding for the Sofa bed. We asked for multiple times. They are only delivered to the room very late in the evening.

Not a single good night’s rest, there is no sound proofing between rooms or the hallway. Staff woke me up for cleaning every morning short of 8am even when I had the privacy tag on the door handle outside. I would not stay here again, not 4-star quality except for the location being central.

The woman at the registration desk was great. I was able to check in early. I really needed a hairspray. They had it there. The room was extremely clean the Starbucks there is very kind the hotel was right near my convention. It couldn’t have been better than the next day I asked for a late check out, but end up leaving early, I would highly suggest this location.

Please don’t book here. I’m glad that the horrible customer service experience I had with the hotel was done before I checked in. I canceled quickly. Businesses must remember that good customer service goes a long way.

Certainly, for the price you pay per night, you expect the accommodations to be exceptional. The room was clean and the beds and pillows comfortable. The alarm clock in the room had the wrong time and there wasn't an intuitive way to change it. We tried to break a large bill so we could tip the staff, but the front desk does not have cash, or so they told us. They also don't keep extra linens at the front desk, so we have to wait to have housekeeping bring some up.As others have mentioned, the valet is convenient, but expensive and not fast at all. So, plan ahead. They do offer luggage storage so you can check out, see some more sites, and then come back and get your luggage and your vehicle. The valet service was understaffed during check-out. Also, twice I went to the front desk for assistance and it was unattended and no way to notify staff. The restaurant prices are obscene. The pool is kid friendly and has pool noodles and water basketballs. It's 3-1/2 to 4 feet deep. The fitness room is top notch and has two Peloton Bikes, but you must have your own clip-in bike shoes. They do not have the shoe loop attachments that allow you to ride with regular athletic shoes. They offer free line-in headphones that you can plug into treadmills and other cardio equipment. The location is the reason we stayed there. Convenient to all the main sites in DC as well as Capital One Arena for sporting events (until the teams move to Virginia) and concerts.Next time, we'll probably try the Courtyard, also in downtown. We've had good experiences with them in the past.

I'm a huge Marriott fan. But the place was under construction. Had I known I probably would Have stayed in one of their other properties. I wish they would have put that on the listing at the time of booking. Over all the room was nice , but the lobby was a little chaotic , and the restaurant bar was closed. Still, It's a marriott and it is everything that you would expect it to be.

In love with this hotel. Absolutely great location - in walking distance from the Mall, right next to the subway station and some great restaurants. They have a heated pool that is always a joy for the kids. The lounge offers pretty decent options for breakfast and snacks. The rooms are good - a lot of space, clean and modern. The only minuse - the hotel restaurant is under renovation, but use it as a chance to visit some good restaurants in the area. Will definitely return here next time visiting DC.

I had an amazing stay here at the Washington Marriott at Metro center! I was greeted with excellence by a woman named Trudy! She not only met all my needs but she went above and beyond throughout my stay to make sure I was comfortable! My room on the 15th was clean and comfortable! Thank you Marriott!

The Washington Marriott at Metro Center is listed on Google Maps as a 4-star hotel, located within one block of the Metro Center stop of the Metro/Subway system where multiple transit lines meet. This hotel is only 3 stops away from Union Station on the red line of the Metro. The hotel was extremely responsive when interacting with them on the Marriott Bonvoy chat app, which I use almost exclusively to communicate with the hotel. I reached out to them hours in advance of my arrival requesting an upgrade and to give them updates on my arrival. When my train was late, I told the hotel via the chat app. They told me that they were upgrading me and that I could use my ekey so I wouldn't have to go to the front desk upon my arrival. I did exactly as I was told and went to the room in the app with the ekey. It turns out that the room I entered was not an upgraded room, nor did it have the extra items I had requested. I wound up just going to sleep, because it was so late.I come to find out that the hotel staff member never changed my ekey to the upgraded room, so I went to the wrong room. Apparently, it's a two-step process and they never completed the second part. They offered the upgrade the second day but at that point I had already unpacked and declined the offer. I asked that a physical key be made for me, and they complied. I also requested housekeeping for the room. After returning from my first day or meetings my room key did not work. The front desk was confused where I was supposed to be, insisting that I was in another room, even though my things were in the room I left in the morning. That got cleared up and I finally got into the room, a room that was never cleaned. The manager did call me and offer immediate housekeeping service, to which I declined, because of the later hour. The manager was very apologetic and after returning from the club lounge for a snack, the manager had a bottle of wine and chocolates delivered to my room as a way of apologizing. It was a nice touch. I appreciate that they followed through with trying to make it right for me after continually dropping the ball. The room was comfortable with great bedding and tasteful, modern furnishings. The bathroom was bright and clean. The shower head and wand make for a really nice shower. The pump toiletries are appreciated vs. the single use ones. The Club lounge was very nicely stocked and is open 24/7. The wine at $22/glass (largest pour) was a bit steep but I don't mind if the quality is there. Their cab was actually very good.Based on the above I will be giving the hotel 4 stars.Rooms: Modern furnishings. Comfortable bed.Nearby activities: Multiple transit lines within 1 block at Metro Center. Macy's is one block away as well as multiple higher-end restaurants.Food & drinks: Lots of higher-end restaurants within a few blocks.Noteworthy details: Great club lounge that is well stocked and open for snacks 24/7. Breakfast served daily and nightly socials.

Large rooms and quiet hotel. Service was very nice. It was only 10-15 minutes from the airport. There was a cute little spray to use on your pillow to help you sleep.

The staff here is exceptionally friendly and attentive. I've stayed here twice now and both visits have been fantastic. The location is phenomenal - half a mile from The White House! The M Club has some really tasty offerings and is available 24/7. Breakfast & Dinner are served at specific times, but you can still come by to snack throughout the day and night. There is a Starbucks in the lobby as well if you need a coffee in the morning!I already have another reservation for later in the year - very excited to come back! :)
