Today October 10th whoever works here is late. So unprofessional. We had people waiting outside on the sidewalk.

The person "helping" seems annoyed at any questions you may have. He told me that my package would be delivered in two or three days and it's been three weeks and it is still in transit. When I went to inquire he talked to me as I was a nuisance instead of showing any kind of empathy - this delay is causing me a lot of money. Horrible customer service!

Someone shut this place down. Definitely not what Ben Franklin had in mind.

I'm going to start by saying the only reason I'm giving it 2 star is because the man who works there is helpful every time I've come in there. However there is a woman that works there. I would describe her to a t. She's a tall, black woman, I know her license plate because she threatened me and my dog as she walked to her car. How smart.I've lived on the block 2 years, I always walk my leashed dog every day. This particular day, this woman who is an employee there starts screaming while walking about 5 feet behind me and my dog. She's screaming "I'll kick your dog! I'll kick your dog! You ugly ugly a****** She did all this while wearing her POSTAL shirt and walking to her gold Suburban. Not very bright considering you're a government employee. When I pointed out that she was still wearing her postal shirt she hopped in her car and rode off into the sunset. I went to the post office to complain about her. I even told him I was appalled as a black woman and as a human in general. Had the young man taken my complaint to the postmaster I would have given it a 1.This woman stares at me every time she sees me. Outside walking my dog. I personally don't feel like she's the type of employee that should be there. This is what happens when you complain and it goes nowhere. Employees get to intimidate. This is not how postal workers treat people. Especially unprovoked. As a black woman, it was disgusting to see that coming from her. I'm going to complain about her on every forum until the post office realize why they're losing money. The people you employ! The service!

Truly uncivil treatment by postal clerk who "helped" me. This is my neighborhood post office and I frequent it once a month and usually don't encounter problems here. But today, there was a postal worker whom I've never seen before. No one was present at the counter in the post office when I walked in and there were also no other customers. I waited a few minutes and then called out "hello"....got no response....waited again and again said "hello"..again no response although I could vaguely see someone moving through a crack in the partition. Again I waited, and called out "hello"...again no response. Absolute silence. After a several more minutes, someone finally came out and instead of saying hello to me, the first thing the US postal worked named Angelo (clerk #15) said to me was "YOU do NOT call us up to the counter, WE call you up the counter". I said "I had no idea if anyone was here or not" and he again repeated that I was not allowed to call out, that only he was supposed to call me up to the counter. He was just looking at me in a mocking way, just very off putting and rude. I was completely flabbergasted at the experience.

Dropped off two packages. One package was delivered without issue, however, the package with $375 insurance was never scanned into the system. USPS claims I never dropped it off and will not review video of the day to show package was dropped off or follow the employee handling it. As it was never scanned, they claim I never brought it in. Post master of city it was going to believes theft was in play. Do not trust this location or DC USPS with packages as they don't care to help.

Unfortunately, this is the worst USPS I've ever visited. There were no less than three employees working here when I went during the afternoon, yet only one employee was helping a customer. It was clear that the employee and the customer were having a good time talking, and then another, more senior employee with headphones on would come and yell at the employee helping the customer from time to time. He would say really rude things and talk down to him and it was super uncomfortable to witness. Once the employee was finally able to help me, he started FaceTiming his girlfriend or someone he knew on his phone. I'm guessing it was his gf because he was saying really inappropriate things, while I was in complete shock. I was literally standing in front of him asking him questions and taping up my package and felt like I was interrupting his convo... I had to wait until whatever he was finished saying so I could pay and wrap up the transaction. I know this is the USPS, but even from the most basic customer service perspective, come on!!! How do you not feel ashamed to have an extremely private conversation on speaker phone in front of a customer? USPS also provides surveys on their receipts for transactions, so I will definitely report this.

I can't believe how rude the slender older guy with glasses is. For the past year every time I come in he has an attitude and acts as if Im bothering him even though Ive been nothing but nice to him. Today he pretty much flat out refused to help me when I told him that I had a lot of packages. I never see him doing anything other than sitting down and looking on his phone if he's not helping someone. I don't see how refusing to do your job is tolerated at the post office! Just pure laziness.
