Payton made my project effortless thanks to her professionalism. The Tiles Shop Tenleytown sales team is a joy to work with. Product did not disappoint. Delivery could have been handled in a better way but I will blame the driver for it. Nothing major though.

Thanks to Payton, the tile I needed for a bathroom remodel was found in time to keep with the original timeline. She was instrumental in finding the tile at several local stores that could be picked up immediately. She organized and got everything ordered. Just wonderful service!

Murdoch Builders has been remodeling homes in DC since 1997. The Tile Shop has been an excellent partner in our remodels. Calls are returned promptly and everything is ordered correctly and efficiently. I've been very happy with the DC Tile Shop location. Nia Williams, our rep, is a true professional.

The salesman who worked with us, Sal, has been one of the most courteous, helpful salesperson I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He went out of his way to ensure our satisfaction.Unfortunately, our project extended beyond the company's 60-day return period policy. It was necessary because the store was running out of the tiles we selected before the Christmas holidays, and our contractor was not yet ready to begin work. As a result, they are refusing to refund us the cost of the unused, unopened boxes of tiles amounting to thousands of dollars. They instead are willing to give us a gift card in that amount, AND CHARGE THAT FULL AMOUNT AGAINST SAL'S INCOME. The company pays only commissions to its salesforce, so that deduction would be devastating to Sal.Since we refuse to allow Sal to be punished for a job well done, we are willing to sell the leftover tiles online at a loss. We find those personnel practices to be extremely unfair and we will never deal with the Tile Shop again for that reason.

We discovered The Tile Shop when renovating our small bathroom and we are so glad we did. If you’re looking for expertise, personal service and quality materials, this is the place—even if your project is small. The Tile Shop has a dazzling selection to choose from, they worked with our budget and never tried to upsell us. We worked with all three salespeople and never felt rushed or pressured. They really spend as much time as needed on every customer so you might want to call ahead for an appointment if you’re on a tight schedule. Our tile was reasonably priced, arrived on time and was brought it out to our car.

We were struggling with a project to build a house in Wyoming that required complicated structures and styles. We walked into The Tile Shop and met Sal. “No problem” he said. Our wonderful customer service journey began that day. He showed us a wonderful selection of tiles and styles that would work with our designs. Our project is on-going. We are forever grateful for Sal’s insight and inspiration.

Prior to doing the renovation of my bathroom, I researched all of the tile shops the DMV area. Thankfully I chose to work with The Tile Shop. Working with the Tile Shop has been such a pleasure. Justin and Peyton work seamlessly providing great direction as a result of their expertise. They go over and beyond to accommodate. I highly recommend them to assist with any project.

I took bathroom measurements to the tile shop in Tysons Corner besides the Starbucks on Leesburg Pike. The person calculated how much floor tile, wall tile, and marble base would be required. The floor tile calculations were off by 2 boxes and we were 2 boxes short. Calculation for marble base was also off by one box, but I had an extra. It is important to note all of these items are still in stock in their inventory.My contractor was delayed in starting the project due to health concerns. The contractor sent me to the tile shop to get 2 more boxes of floor tile and to return the extra box of marble base. They refused to return the marble base stating it had been over 6 months since purchase. Had the tile shop correctly calculated the needed materials I would not have had the further delay in finishing the bathroom or had the overage. We are now waiting for the floor to arrive at this location. I determined that the shortage of tile must have arisen out of the square footage calculation fo the tub and believe he subtracted the tub twice. The manager Sal Shahidi apparently directed the staff to not assist this customer. I would not recommend dealing with this store manager at all, and would encourage you to go to other tile shop locations.
