This place is not bad but I can tell it’s very old school considering the way the thermostats look inside the rooms. On their website, It may say that their break-lunch-dinner may be free but it’s not and one of the workers at the restaurant had the audacity to ask us if we had a free voucher or residence of the hotel… I guess we were new faces that they have not seen but they should NEVER ask anyone, It’s common sense.. Otherwise how would I have known if the restaurant was inside the hotel? Anyways, room service was great but this place definitely needs some work. I found a baby roach dead in my room and I was actually missing a pair of shorts even though my dirty clothes was inside my luggage. A few of the other girls claimed they were missing a bra. I should have took this up with the people at the front but im pretty sure room service would have thrown it away by now or at least I hope so. If I would have left my personal belongings they PROBABLY would have been gone too but I was smart. The area at night is sketchy because of homeless people that chill by the liquor store but during the day it’s way better. Also the metro is just a few blocks away if you use the bus or train to get to places. Otherwise good experience but not the greatest atmosphere.

The hotel is quiet and located within a short walking distance to most of the popular tourist sites, although the hotel is not modern and modern, it is nevertheless very clean and the staff is courteous and happy to

I have booked for 2 adult and 1 kid with breakfast package but they send me receipt of only 1 adult but charged for 3. so they provided breakfast coupon for only 1 adult after so many counter argument with hotel operational manager than he provided for 1 day of breakfast coupon for the rest. It’s very old hotel so air conditioning is not working as they have not changed from heat to cold. They provided the fan and open Windows but it’s noisy and not pleasant at all.Towels were not clean.I have requested for late checkout till 2 pm but staff did not agree to it but in email they stated very if I want then they can do early check in and late checkout. But location is great that’s why I booked but the hotel staff are not helpful and understanding at all.

Very nice hotel. Close to everything. Employees very friendly. Also very helpful getting around. The room was large with two queen size beds. Separate kitchen with table and chairs. Also equipped with a refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, tea kettle, pots and pans. Bathroom was a little small with a separate vanity room. CVS, Dunkin Donuts and Liquor store a couple of doors down. The resturant inside the hotel was good.

The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately there is no restaurant in the hotel and the bar closes at 9 p.m.Walking distance to the White House and Lincoln Memorial are each about 10-15 minutes.Unfortunately, there is a tent city with homeless people nearby, which makes the area a bit scary in the evenings.

Great location and a nice bargain for DC. The hotel is nice, comfortable with clean large rooms. The area is quiet but we were able to walk to a few restaurants and also to the main tourist attractions (Lincoln Memorial, Mall, etc) and to the Kennedy Memorial Concert Hall (our destination).Few items to keep in mind…Parking at the hotel is pricy but we were able to park right on the street (on the weekend) right in front of the hotel. The hotel has two entrances and one is not accessible (stairs and no ramp to reach the elevators which are up a few steps from the lobby). Check in was easy and they explained that there is an accessible entrance from the garage, it we found out the other side entrance has no stairs in front. The two entrances did cause some confusion with one of our Uber drivers, but it was manageable. The room does not have a refrigerator, and one has to call the front desk for ice. Not a big deal, but something to know if you, like us, like cold water/beverages in your room.Lastly, the tv is terrible. They need to upgrade.
