I successfully completed the weight loss challenge and was never given my money back even though Sam repeatedly told me I would. This company lacks integrity and something is wrong with Sam. The trainers were encouraging and that is the only good thing I can say. Do not waste your time or money with this company.

1.I woke up to another pending charge on my card and my account in the negative because I was over charged. When asked about it I was told to just contact my bank and have them fix it 2. This is definitely a bait and switch situation, they get you in the under the false pretenses that the training is free the tell you that you have to buy these products. Which are $600+ for the challenge. 3. It's just scammy as hell please stay away.

Sam is an absolute liar. I would NOT recommend dealing with her. The rest of the team was pleasant, kind and respectful. Sam, however was deceitful, manipulative and condescending. I was told I would receive a refund for items I never received and 3 weeks later I have not. I was told to schedule my treatments through the App and was denied access up to 2 weeks of joining the challenge. Something is deeply wrong with her mental state of mind.

I've been a Spark client for 3 years and all I can say is these guys get it. Spark is not a gym for people who just want to do the latest diet fad or get fit quick scheme. Alex (the owner) is all about making sure people understand how their bodies work. When I joined Spark I wanted to get in shape and deal with a few health issues. On alex's programs I have lost over 50lbs, stopped taking 3 of my medications, and no longer deal with low energy.I've learned enough to even start helping my friends and family with their health issues. All I can say is that if you're looking for a life change and want to get into better shape, this is the place to be!

It's a ruse they say it's free but before they do anything you have to sign a contract. The contract obligates you to pay money if you don't lose the weight you're stuck with paying at least $1k to $2k for 6 weeks. BEWARE!

This in NOT regarding their training services, but their AMISH MARKET CO-OP. Here are my warnings and recommendations if you choose to participate: 1. Just b/c you purchase it online, does not mean it will be there for pick up. I thought the fact that they moved to a on-line ordering system would mean that the item would definitely be there, but that was not the case. This may impact your total cost. RECOMMENDATION: Be prepared for substitutions. 2. When ordering meat, know that it is rarely the weight that you order. For example, you purchase 1 pound of beef on-line. When you go to pick up your order, you will find that 1 pound of meat is not available -- it will be slightly under or over (I'm still not quite sure why the Amish can't provide exactly 1 pound of meat...). Most likely, it will be over. This means that you have to pay additional $ for the overage or await a credit for the missing pounds. RECOMMENDATION: Be prepared to take home slightly more (or slightly less) meat than you paid for AND take a picture of the receipt they keep so that you know EXACTLY how much this charge will be. 3. It may take a while for your credit to arrive. I will say that when I was charged for someone else's order, and brought it to Alex and Sam's attention, I did get my money back -- although it took about 2-3 weeks. If you choose to purchase from the market, then these are my recommendations. The reason for this review is due to my latest interaction with them, and the reason why I will no longer purchase from the co-op... I placed my bi-monthly order, came to pick it up, and the pork ribs I ordered were not available (ofcourse!), so I was offered a short rib substitution. Although it really was not a choice, b/c (true to form) I had ordered 1 pound of short ribs, but there were no 1 pound packages available, so I was 'given' 2 pounds. Not really 'given' but that is what was going to make my pickup most closely match my order.Long story short -- the short ribs did not make it into my shopping bag. There was some type of mix up between the staff and I, and I did not take the ribs home (I'm still not sure what happened). So I reached out to Sam and Alex the next day about the missing product. Alex initially said it would not be a problem. However, when I went to pick them up Sam basically said (politely) that they did not have the meat. She was not saying that I was trying to "get over on them" but something must have happened between the time I left them and the time I got home. So she was happy to sell me additional meat, but she was not going to make me whole.Hence, this review. For me, it's the principle of the situation -- 1) I've spent at least a few hundred dollars over the last few months on this co-op. 2) I've been polite whenever substitutions were made (even if I didn't necessarily want the product). 3) I waited patiently for my credit that was mischarged to my account. 4) I've accepted any charges for overages or debits for "underages." So the fact that you would not give me $24 worth of short ribs, but instead basically called me a liar (not literally, but that was the sentiment) and gave me the option to purchase additional meat? That's was the last straw.

I completed Spark's 6-Week Challenge in August 2019-October 2019. I wanted to begin a life-long fitness journey that would educate me about sustainable health. In the past, my health goals did not align with my other goals. I believed I had to choose either healthy living or important relationships. Through Spark Fitness, I learned how to make my health journey a priority without becoming a recluse. I followed the meal plan and the workout schedule and I lost 10.2 pounds. I continued to spend quality time with family and friends, but made smart, healthy food decisions when in group settings and I planned outings around my workout schedule. However, more importantly, I learned invaluable information about balanced nutrition, proper eating habits, and maintaining an active lifestyle surrounded by my loved ones.

Trainers were good, the place is not too hygienic, they didn't refund as they promised even after I won the six-weeks challenge.

Good people. They need to own the whole building to accommodate all the things they offer.

The six week weight loss challenge worked for me, I made my goal of 20 plus pounds. I enjoyed talking with Sam and Alex. All the trainers, Matt, Cooper and Bruno were great to me, even despite I hate working with trainers. They adjusted to my weeks/ days working out by giving me challenging exercises. To me this was worth it and I will continue with the Spark at a later date when my semester will permit. THANKS SPARK Fitness and good blessing for those who give them a try.Update I Received my refund 4 months after completing the program with no apology because I was not signing up for another program they felt it was "no point." Communication for receiving my money back was poor. (I still stand by the training was great)

I challenged myself by taking the “6 Week Challenge Program” to lose weight. I’m glad I did.Six weeks later I had outstanding results. Double chin, gone; love handles, gone, belly fat, gone.YES, YES, YES, I met my goal in 6 weeks. I took an additional 4 weeks and met a second goal. Thank you Sparks Fitness for your “6 Week Challenge Program.” I especially enjoyed the 3 days per week training sessions with your super fantastic personal trainers. I will love you for life along with my new eating habits.

GREAT Trainers. TERRIBLE Business.Business: Super unprofessional. There have been several instances of people being owed money, and Spark not giving them it them, despite acknowledging that they owe them. They currently owe me hundreds of dollars, and I have not gotten it. I have asked for a copy of my signed contract and apparently, it will take weeks for them to get it to me. People leave the gym because of the unprofessionalism. It is very unfortunate. They have a BBB rating of “F”. Several complaints have been filed against Spark Fitness. Almost all of the are unresolved.Hours: So the gym is only open limited hours, and they have recently cut their hours, which makes it extremely inconvenient for people's schedules.Ownership. Recently the owner has been doing the training and having the trainers observe. This was concerning for several of the people who had been at the gym for a while because the owner has expressed unwillingness to tailor workouts to an individual's Unique Needs and Goals.Trainers: The trainers are great! The trainers at Spark Fitness are the only reason why I stayed so long. Unfortunately, Cooper, one of the three trainers left recently. This is terrible because Cooper was so knowledgeable and was able to tailor workouts to individual needs.Beware!
