The security guard Tracey Coleman should be fired. Absolutely rude, zero respect. What would someone her size actually accomplish as a security guard?

T. Coleman the female security guard was extremely disrespectful to the community.

Great museum with a lot of cool exhibits focusing on America and it's history. The exhibit on food and transportation were really cool.
The most annoying thing was the sheer number of teenagers running around, yelling, rough-housing and just bein annoying. Museum staff were friendly.
There is a ton of open space in this museum, and it would be nice if there was some art or other features to take up that space, particularly by the elevators and hallways.

Amazing experience. Plenty of stuff to discover and get to know. No entry fee at all.
Definetely coming back on my next visit to D.C.

This museum was a massive let down. I spent my day and money expecting to see the bat mobile. Unfortunately, their false advertising has led me to waste my money and time. Do not make the same mistake as me.

Disappointed in the lack of displays on American history. This has become a microcosm of what was done wrong, trying to shame everyone for everything.
It is not the purpose of government funds to divide the populous. I will not be back unless I want a heavy dose of negativity .
If the curators think the U S A is such a bad place to be, explain why so many people from across the world, across races, across cultures and across religious groups want to come here.
Shame on you and your lack of understanding what your purpose is: to present the facts of the American historical past and allow people to make their own decisions on what it means and where we need to progress for the future.
I do not recommend coming to this institution.

I hadn't been here in a decade or so and following this visit, I won't be back. Instead of focusing on the achievements of America and Americans as it was previously, the entire museum is now a major scold for all we didn't do well. No argument that many groups have had to fight for full rights but the thing that should be celebrated by a national museum is that we have a system that allows that fight to take place and to succeed. It is extremely disappointing that you choose to focus on what divides us instead of what unites us.

This museum belongs to the Smithsonian series, it is very well organized by theme according to the exhibition we want to see. Access is free and no reservation is required. It has a gift shop and water fountains. Here we can see the highlights of the history of the United States. It can be reached by walking from the Smithsonian subway station.
