This salon was such a lucky find. Bianca Pettigrew is by far the most talented and considerate hairstylists I have ever encountered. She really listens and has very thoughtful suggestions. For my first cut with her, she took her time and had a conversation about what I wanted from my haircut. She is focused on building trust with her clients and she does an absolutely beautiful job. My hair has never been this healthy or easy to style, and it is all thanks to Bianca's genius.

Appx. 3 weeks ago, Chevelle colored and treated my hair. Let me tell you, my curls lasted 3 weeks...moisturized the entire time. From the hair treatment to the color to the cut, AMAZING!!! This is the least shedding I've ever had... Also, Chevelle provided me with products to maintain my hair, and I'm in love. I will not deviate from the styling tips and resources she provided for my specific hair type. Thank you, Chevelle!!! Forever a customer

This is the best cut and color I've ever gotten. Chevelle listened to my wants and needs and eased me into balayage. I had a previous bad experience with lightening my hair and she was really thoughtful about how much she lightened my hair and how she painted on the lifter. She gave me great advice and product recommendations for maintaining my color and treating stress-related hair loss. Chevelle is easy to talk to, kind, and funny. Thank you, Chevelle!

Used to love this place but it's way more of a nail salon with their recent change of management. I now go to Blondies around the corner for Steve J. He does the best balayage in town and it won't drain your wallet!

Let me tell you guys something! Chevelle is the hair coloring Goddess! She is not only one of the most personable hair stylist that I've encountered but she listens and is truly skilled. Check out my cotton candy hair photo. So glad I've found her! I'll seek her out again and again!!

Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT GO HERE. I had Vivienne start on my hair. She put bleach on all of my hair but the roots and sat me down under a hot dryer without putting a plastic cap on my head. Needless to say, the bleach burned the back of my neck. When she bleached the roots, I had to ask her for a plastic cap before sitting me under the dryer again. Well, after that, she just disappeared! The timer was set for 20 minutes and after the timer went off for the bleaching, I was left sitting there for over 30 more minutes! Apparently, (without anyone having told me) she had an "emergency". What was her emergency? She had to do someone else's hair! Anyway, there was no one there to help me, (I was the only one left in the salon) although several times I stopped employees either going upstairs or down to tell them my scalp was burning. Just as I was ready to go to the sink myself and shampoo the bleach out, another hairdresser (from another salon) stepped in to help. The owner said that he would compensate me for my troubles and all he gave me was $5 off the $125 charge! On top of all this, they told me that the whole appointment would take 2 hours and I was in there over 5!

I've followed Steve to various salons for years, most recently to Salon Rouge, and I am DEVASTATED that I've moved too far away to go to him regularly. Steve does incredible balayage highlights. I always leave happy and confident (and a little tipsy thanks to his heavy wine pours and frequent refills, oops). Apart from looking great, Steve's highlighting is twice as fast and half as expensive as most other places I've been. The salon itself isn't the nicest I've been to, but Steve's talent outweighs the lack of frills.

I came in for partial highlights and a haircut, and left with my hair GRAY on top and yellow on the bottom. I was also charged an additional $50 for having long hair, which was well over half of what I paid in total. After trying to get that fee refunded and receiving no response, I was forced to book an appointment at another salon to fix the gray hair and have now spent over $300 on the whole ordeal. My friend was also disappointed and had to get her hair redone at another salon as well.

LOVEE it here!! Camelia does a great job! I have thick natural hair, and after having to do the so called big chop at least twice, I barely let anyone touch it. I'm very sensitive about my hair. I wanted to do something different so I asked her to color it blonde for me and my hair still has a beautiful natural bounce to it!! Thank you so much Camelia!!!

I've been going to Steve at Salon Rouge for years and have no plans to go anywhere else. EVER. Steve never disappoints, he knows I'm very particular with my hair, and it always comes out looking fabulous. I trust him completely and he explains everything thoroughly and always give me awesome styling tips and tricks. Whatever look you're trying to achieve color, cut and style wise, he can take care of it. I enjoy the chatty, fun atmosphere of Salon Rouge. I've been so happy with my hair every time! So if you're looking for a one stop shop for all your hair needs and want to feel like a million bucks, look no further, Steve will be your new favorite!

I have recently moved to the city and took a chance on a new hairdressers with Salon Rouge. I had a great experience with Bianca Pettigrew she listened to what I wanted and was really enthusiastic. She did really nice partial highlights that didn't even need toner afterwards and cut a fabulous bob! Reasonably priced and easy to book online. I will definitely be back!
