PNC Chevy Chase is the “No can do”bank. I deal with six banks in my business & personal life. While none are particularly great, PNC is the worst, by far. All I hear is what they “CAN’T” do or that general processes will take double the time of every other bank in town. After today’s ridiculous interaction, I’m closing out my account with them and moving that six figures to one of the more customer service oriented banks on the same strip of Connecticut Ave.

Excellent staff and customer service at this branch. It is a convenient location - within walking distance of grocery stores, the library, USPS, and CVS. Bernard Mitchell is the long-time branch manager and goes above and beyond with excellent customer service and support.

Excellent customer service. Quiet on a Saturday morning. Starbucks directly to the side of this bank. A few steps away from small grocery stores.

The manager, Bernard, the staff, Yvonne, Maya, Constance, and others could not have been more responsive and professional and indeed wonderful to work with. We are so pleased to be banking with this Branch for decades, and that despite changes in staffing, these are the very Best of the bunch... including persons I cannot recall at this moment. Banks are supposed to be so impersonal but these people make you feel like you are family, that they are there to serve you, and that they care about you. Kudo's all around!!!

My friend was charged the $36 overdraft fee 9 times over 3 days for 4 small purchases totalling less than $5. She was about to get out of a physically dangerous living situation, instead was hospitalized because she didn't think she could go on after the bank refused to keep stealing that $36 anytime they want

LOVE this branch because of the employees who work there! Bernard the branch manager is always really helpful and makes us feel welcome every time we visit the branch. The tellers and assistant manager are great, too!

I have always found PNC Bank and the Chevy Chase Branch in particular goes out of its way to be of assistance to me. They have been patient in assisting me in financing a mortgage loan and anticipating my financial needs. I couldn't be happier.

PNC at Chevy Chase is absymal in terms of customer service. I reordered checks. The first set of checks had my address incorrect. The second set of checks added another name to the checks. Finally, after multiple phone calls, the third set of checks was correct. To compound this problem, my account was debited $49 for the checks, two sets of which were useless. The checks should not have cost me anything because of the type of account I have. Over the course of four days, I called the branch at least five times and left messages to speak with the branch manager. One day I called twice in the morning and never received a call back. I expended several hours on this issue. Caveat emptor!
