I had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hyatt, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The hotel offers a wide array of top-notch amenities, making it a destination in itself. From various dining options, there’s always something to enjoy without even leaving the hotel. We had so much to do right within the property, it made our stay incredibly convenient and relaxing.
One of the highlights is the direct access to the metro station within the hotel, which made exploring the city a breeze. It was so convenient to hop on the metro and get anywhere we wanted to go in just a few minutes.
Overall, I highly recommend the Grand Hyatt for anyone looking for a perfect blend of luxury, convenience, and comfort. I can’t wait to return!

I recently had the pleasure of staying in a Club room on the 12 th floor at the Grand Hyatt Washington, and it was an exceptional experience. The suite was spacious, elegantly decorated, and provided all the comforts one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring the city.
One of the standout features was the access to the Club Lounge. The lounge offered a delightful array of amenities, including a delicious breakfast spread each morning, light snacks throughout the day, and evening appetizers that were perfect for unwinding. The complimentary beverages, including coffee, tea, and soft drinks, were a nice touch and always available.
The location of the hotel is unbeatable, with easy access to the Metro Center station and within walking distance to many of Washington D.C.'s top attractions, including the Smithsonian museums and the National Mall. This made it incredibly convenient to explore the city without the hassle of long commutes.
The staff at the Grand Hyatt were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with any requests. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly enhanced the overall experience.
In summary, the Club Suite at the Grand Hyatt Washington offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay in the nation’s capital.

My husband and I took our 4 day anniversary trip to Washington DC and stayed at the Grand Hyatt because of the great reviews I had read. We loved the convenience of the hotel as far as proximity to various museums and shopping and the perk of having access directly to the metro station from the hotel.
The room itself was nicely maintained and recently renovated. We ate breakfast at the Cabinet buffet one morning and that was well worth the $32 per person (excludes omelet station). The eggs, meats, yogurt station, cereal station, fruit, and pastries were all top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and the service we received there.
Unfortunately I had to give 3 stars because of the three issues listed below.
1) Two weeks prior to our stay I requested an early check in at 12:30 when normally check in is at 4 pm. The website was clear that this was something I could request and would be granted upon availability. When we did arrive we were informed that there would be a $30 early check in fee which was not listed on the website or when I requested the early check in online. This was not something we budgeted for and would have appreciated the heads up about this fee.
2) Once we settled into our room, a King Atrium View room, we noticed there was no microwave and called down to ask if there was one in the two dining areas we could use. As we ate out over the weekend we naturally had leftovers and would like to warm them up/eat them later. The cabinet has one for use but only until 11:00 am and then the Cure Bar and Bistro does not typically offer microwave use but they did let us for the one time. I would recommend putting a public microwave somewhere in the hotel that guests can use.
3) Another room feature we were very disappointed in and created frustration over the weekend was the WiFi & TV streaming options. Where most hotels have smart TVs or Roku TVs that allow you to log in to your own streaming service or cast from your device, the Grand Hyatt has LG TVs that use Google Chromecast which is very limiting. We could not stream from Peacock, Disney Plus, or Paramount Plus. When we did try to cast to watch from our Netflix, the WiFi was too slow to do so. We spent 30 mins on the phone with their IT department only to get it working for about 45 mins before it got so fuzzy and would not buffer. My husband did a test for the WiFi speed (which is marketed by Grand Hyatt as high speed) and it was 2.6 MB download and 4.2 upload which is very slow. We never got it working over the weekend which was disappointing at night when we wanted to use the large flat screen we had to use our small tablet.
Overall it was a comfortable stay but would definitely like to see the entertainment options with the TV upgraded and the wifi speed fixed.

Very nice place check in was smooth and customer service was great. The room was just the right temperature and everything was clean. The subway is connected to the hotel as well whoch convenient from the airport. The only issue is our ice machine on the floor wasn't working. Other than that it was great. Perfect location for food and shopping. Would stay again!

I had a great stay here. The best part was its direct connection to the underground Metro Center station, making it easy to get around without stepping outside—especially reassuring given that my DC friends have told me the area can be dangerous at night, but it does close early at 10pm.
The White House is a 13 min walk away & there are many coffee shops nearby to check out in the morning and afternoons! The hotel room was clean, and I loved being able to request anything I needed straight from the Hyatt app. Will be back to stay here again next time I’m back in DC/Rosslyn!

The hotel and rooms are recently renovated. Very nice! Only issue was that our digital key didn’t work so we had to wait in a long check-in line. They said the new locks are not programmed with the digital key yet. An email telling us this would have been appreciated since we spent 15 minutes going to the room, attempting the digital key, calling the front desk, then having to go back down and wait in the line for a physical key. Regardless of this issue, we’ll be back!! Great location and private hallway to the metro line.
Rooms: Upscale modern and new. Beds very comfortable.
Safety: The area around the hotel is really clean and nice. Many upscale stores. It felt safe walking at night. A few blocks away from Chinatown
Walkability: You can walk anywhere here. Very safe.
Food and drinks: A ton of options. All walkable.

Great location, terrible service. They booked us in one room type, tried to charge us the same amount for a much smaller room. We spent half an hour with the front desk trying to resolve the issue.
Breakfast was solid. Hot buffet selections with decent pastries. Way overpriced though
