This was a cool find when walking around DC! This pen place has a great selection and the selection gets even better when they have vendors come in. Everyone is polite not to pushy trying to make a sale. They have pens pencils and accessories. Was happy to see some filofax stuff too. A must stop place for any stationary lover

Fabulous pen store. Mr. P. helped us out as we looked at Retro 1951 Tornado pens and I also got to see a Visconti and a Pilot fountain pen. He also recommended a very nice refill that fit my taste. Highly recommend a visit for any pen fanatic.

Closed early on December 23rd with no indication of that fact on Google or their website. Please communicate your businesses plans near the holiday's so that customers who rely on you don't get stuck in a bad situation.

Service was excellent! Informed of delay of new arrival Mont Blanc merchandise because of shipping delays overseas. Extensive selection of pens including their flagship brand of Mont Blanc & Filofax. In addition to pens, extensive selection of stationery as well. Worthy place to check out if you're into writing instruments (pens).

I received a cross pen without an ink converter. I tried to order that particular converter at my regular vendors but no one had it. Amazon wanted a ridiculous amount for it. I googled and Fahrney's came up. The converter came in a week. Service was great. Price was fair.

They disavow any claim to actually have the items listed on their website. When you buy from them, they will accept your order, then try to go find the item cheaper elsewhere and resell it to you. In the event they are unable, they will tell you "too bad" and cancel your order. Moreover, they will not contact you to let you know your order was cancelled. Super shady. I purchased a watch for my father's birthday. A week later, it had not arrived so I called to inquire. They claimed to have run out as "someone bought the last one a minute before me." Dubious. The item remained active on their website 3 full days after I completed my order. In addition to not calling me to inform me they cancelled my order, it turns out Fahnrey's is not even an authorized retailer for the watch they were selling (the folks at Hamilton said they have not been an authorized retailer since 2020). And if you do call -- prepare to be insulted. After expressing my frustration that 7 days have passed and I still do not have my money back, I was told that I "do not understand what a business day is". Well I do understand this: I will never be doing business with Fahrney's again, any day of the week. My recommendation: even if Fahrney's has a lower price than a competitor, go with the competitor. At least they actually have the items they claim to have."

Large selection of fountain pens. It was definitely an experience shopping here. The staff was helpful. Great spot for gift shopping.
