I recently stayed at the Conrad in Washington, D.C., and I can’t say enough about the exceptional experience we had! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, especially for my husband’s birthday. They surprised us by delivering a beautiful cake, a bottle of bubbly, and even candles to our room – such a thoughtful touch that really made our celebration special! Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making us feel at home. The attention to detail and the kindness they showed transformed a simple stay into a cherished memory. Thank you, Conrad, for your hospitality and for going out of your way to make our stay so perfect. Highly recommend for anyone visiting D.C. – we’ll definitely be back!

One of the best hotels in DC.
Rooms: The rooms are roomy and they offer turn down service.
Food and drinks: The bars are too notch with friendly service.

I've stayed at numerous Conrad hotels but none have been as disappointing as this one.
The hotel is actually brand new and spaciously decorated.
The service was incredibly poor and time-consuming, especially considering the price point.
A 15-minute wait just to be seated for breakfast each morning was unacceptable, and the process of ordering and receiving food was excessively slow.
The concierge team was the only bright spot.
Other issues included low water pressure in the bathroom, a malfunctioning TV, and an inexplicable removal of a protein mix from the minibar, despite my request to keep it chilled.
The hotel staff seemed surprised by this incident but offered no solution.
As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I was disappointed by the lack of upgrades and the paltry $25 food credit offered in lieu of the complimentary breakfast typically provided in Europe.
It seems the benefits of being a loyal customer are significantly diminished in the U.S.

I haven’t even stayed here and yet after speaking with the front desk I am convinced this hotel deserves 1 star as given by a few Diamond members. I am a Diamond member and was going to stay tomorrow, October 20’24, night but not after reading the reviews and speaking with a front desk staff at the hotel. Staff seems to be way too arrogant!

Customer service is horrendous. The extremely disrespectful woman who consistently refused to connect me to the front desk while aggressively repeating the line: "I'm an extension of the front desk" or flat out lying by saying that she is the front desk when she isn't (of course always with a combative and condescending attitude), and the male front desk manager, Jeremy, are the most egregious--they will speak to and treat you horribly, and look at you with a "couldn't care less" attitude when you inevitably beg them to be treated with the respect that you deserve as a paying guest.
The front desk manager just stared condescendingly and blinked at me with his head tilted mockingly as I told him I deserved better after being downgraded, unwillingly, for what I presume was a higher priority guest, such as a celebrity or politician, and seemed incredulous that I dare stand up for myself when I'm spending the same amount of money as the guest taking the room I booked in advance, yet being treated like garbage, being forced to repeatedly pack up my things and move from room to room on my holiday, with absolutely zero respect for myself or my time.
Making me move out of the room I paid for in advance to a downgraded room, without notice or my permission, was unacceptable enough, but the extremely arrogant, rude, and hostile behaviour that it was met with was shocking. I am absolutely horrified how employees at a "5-star" hotel are repeatedly allowed to behave so inappropriately and unprofessionally towards guests.
I had been an extremely loyal guest, spending an exorbitant amount of money each month, and they ended that abruptly with their behaviour. I will never return and it is clear that they couldn't care less.

Well run urban hotel with large rooms and good service. They did a great job with event dining and service for hundreds. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. City view rooms are nice. Ask for a higher floor to help limit street noise.

Honestly shocked at the poor service that started before we even checked in. We were never greeted as status members and offered no early check in/late check out/upgrade. The two check in staff on the ground floor (Noor?) couldn't find my reservation despite showing them the confirmation email and the app. We then waited 2 hours before coming back in hopes of having a room ready. Again, no one was able to find our reservation and, even though it was a problem in their system, we were told to wait for 10 mins (became another 15 while on a bench). It would have been easy to send us to the bar for a drink while they figured out their problem. In the end, awful service from check in staff, Julie the concierge was lovely and able to get our missing bags sent to the (mediocre) room. Nothing special about this stay at all. Ironically, as we were coming up in the elevator a guest said "don't worry, they'll take good care of you." They did not take good care of us and we won't be back. There are plenty of nicer hotels with fantastic service, I won't waste our time with this property again.

This hotel exceeds my expectations by far best Conrad I have ever stayed at. The room was gorgeous and comfortable. The staff is so friendly. Nour was so helpful and very helpful. The location is within walking distance to all the iconic attractions. Good shopping is close by as well. Highly recommend this place!!

We arrived at the Conrad around 11:30am. Our room (Jr. suite) was not ready. The front desk attendant was very nice and said there was a suite that was empty and that they would have housekeeping clean it right away and that they would text us once it was ready. We stored our luggage and went out and about. At 4:30pm, we went back to the hotel and asked about our room. Again, the front desk was nice but they had a perplexed look on their face. Apparently our room wasn't ready yet again. They were finally able to get us a room. This hotel is interesting in the fact that you enter the property on the first floor and have to take a different elevator to the check in desk on the third floor. Once you get your room, there are different elevators for the rooms as well. The lobby is very nice and the elevators are fast. Once we arrived at our suite, it was clean however the carpet was worn, the luggage rack was worn and the sheets had a rip in them. In our suite, there was a mini bar (which we did not use). As Hilton honors members, you get 2 free bottles of water in your room each day. For the price we paid, I expected a little more "luxury". The property is located on the back side of the high end shops at City Center which is nice if you want to shop. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Note: The nearest metro is Metro Center and it is 2 blocks away. The hotel does allow pets so you might want to take that into consideration when booking this hotel. Overall, it was a nice stay other than the issue at check-in.
Food and drinks: The Summit rooftop bar has amazing sights of DC.

We had our wedding at the Conrad on 9/15/2024, and it was truly a dream come true! My planner and I have been working with Jessica from the start, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about her. She was always professional, super responsive, and went out of her way to accommodate us.
We had quite a few unique requests since our wedding combined both Chinese and American traditions, and there were, of course, some last-minute changes. Jessica worked with us every step of the way, doing her best to make sure everything went according to plan and brought our vision to life.
One detail that really stood out to me about the Conrad was that they sent Mandarin-speaking waiters, even though we hadn’t asked for it. It was such a thoughtful touch, especially since some of our guests only spoke Mandarin. It was something the Conrad team thought of that I hadn’t even considered!
And the food—wow! We got so many compliments from our guests about how amazing everything tasted. The Conrad will forever be a special place for us, and every time we pass by, we’ll be reminded of the incredible time we had there.
Thank you again for everything!

Omgoodness ?! This hotel is awesome and I never want to leave! How did they find so many people that seem to genuinely love and care about you?! I’m not even done with my stay yet and had to put in a review of gratitude! As someone who travels for work, not sure how I missed this Hilton property! But I’m researching every location they have to coordinate my plans when possible! From meeting Jeremy and Jeremy when I checked in to Lisa and Manchu and Macarena, my African sister… And Jackson! So sugary sweet! Everyone’s fantastic!!!! I’ll head out at some point to go to my conference-the actual reason for my stay. Conrad, you’re lucky to have your team! They’re fantastic!!!! And thanks for having a real gym with well maintained equipment and weights!!!! A squat rack! Yikes! So dope!
Walkability: Love the gym for workouts! But it’s in town and nice to be able to walk around the city so I’ll plan to do that too

I don’t know where to begin with this review. It was such an amazing experience, The Conrad left my wife and I speechless and felt like VIPs. The Conrad set the highest standard. My wife and I were celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary. We were upgraded and The Parkview suite was clean, spacious, and amazing. The Sakura Club was the best! The food was amazing everyday. To have snacks and beverages 24 hours was a real treat. The Sakura club also provided excellent cocktails and a whiskey tasting from 3PM to 5 PM. With all that being said, it was the employees that really made the experience special. Every employee said hello when we walk by. My wife and I have never seen such great hospitality and service. A special thanks to Kiki, Mimi, Marlin, and Marco. A big thank you to Tierney and Tom. A HUGE thank you to Kayla. The Conrad deserves 5 stars and their staff 10,000 stars. The staff made our anniversary so special and the memories they gave us will last forever.
Rooms: The room was spacious, clean, with an amazing view.
Nearby activities: Monuments, The Capitol, and Museums
Safety: The Conrad is in a very safe place. They have security.
Walkability: The Conrad is within a mile of the National Mall. Great stores and restaurants just right downstairs.
Food and drinks: The Sakura Club food and drinks were amazing.
Noteworthy details: Get the Sakura Club!!! Worth it.

Lovely hotel and the rooms are lovely. Check-in staff a little cold and disinterested but apart from this it is a great place. Strange system of having to use two lifts together get to your room, hence witnessing the front desk often!
Rooms: Rooms and beautifully finished.

It is a hotel I really want to visit again. It is cozy, clean, and everything is harmonious.
